Our stay at this hotel was just perfect! We were staying in one of the suites next to the river. The room was very comfortable and the garden and forest are amazing. Thanks to all the kind staff for our nice stay. We'll come back very soon!

Stayed here for 2 nights as a base camp. beautiful kept gardens and surroundings. Lodges have all the basic amenities, even have dishwashing liquid, matches, wood, and other small items normally not part of the basics, Nice and clean lodge, large bathroom with large bath, great view, comfortable outside covered stoep and braai area. Great location, safe and secure.

If your going here - especially for a romantic getaway, don't take a hotel room. A divorce will most likely occur within 2 hours. In my opinion the hotel needs a lot of TLC indoors. A coat of fresh paint & a room refresh has long been on the cards. Rather book one of the separate outdoor private chalet's -...

Stayed in the log cabins and was not informed of the VERY noisy road as it runs just pass the cottages to the mill. It only slowed down after 21:00. Also found mangement snobbish and irritated by our requests with the attitude "well you are staying in the cheaper cottages" and at R530pp I did not think it was great...

The cottages are beautiful and spacious with a wood cabin charm, tasteful decor and all the amenities. They are, however, not private, you are very very close to your neighbours and the balcony overlooks a noisy road from the Mills into the nearby town if Sabie. Great for family visits, not romantic getaways. We were impressed by the friendliness and...

We had very good service, the food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, there was plenty to satisfy everyone's needs. We loved having their dogs around. We thought the property and setting was special and unique. We stayed in the river facing units which are really comfy, cosy and spacious. There were 8...

The service at Lone Creek was great. We enjoyed breakfast as well, which was the typical south african option of an English breakfast or cold buffet. The room, however, was a bit outdated and damp - could use some updates.

It was okay. Nothing special. We were treated well, no complaints, just nothing to dazzle. The bathrooms could use some updating as the shower backed up a bit. Otherwise breakfast was fine. If you just need a place to stay, no problem going here. Though, if you want wifi, maybe a pass. Poor connections.
