Where do I start? This was my first all inclusive stay with my partner, choosing an Unlimited Luxury stay for 4 nights.
This place has blown our minds! Upon arriving, we were greeted by staff with big smiles and two glasses of champagne. Although we arrived 4 hours before check-in, we were given a gold card that meant we were able to start taking full advantage of the all the facilities from the start. You definitely notice the 'adult only' focus on the hotel; the peace and quiet was sublime throughout our stay. The lobby itself is worth sitting in alone if you're waiting for check-in; it's quiet, spacious and has a lot of natural light coming in.
While we booked the cheapest room (they all come with a balcony as standard) it was still very spacious and well ventilated, with a large king bed, a free use minibar and also a bidet! While we could have paid more for a pool or ocean view room, we didn't feel this was lacking. Our balcony got a lot of sun and also views of the hills in the distance which was very nice!
Our 'membership' meant we had access to 3 pools (preferred luxury allows all 4) with each one clean, cool and refreshing. One was a shallow pool, one was shallower with built in sun loungers, and the third was the largest, going from adult knee depth to about 1.5m deep.
There were an array of sunloungers outside the pool, with staff patrolling the areas to take drink orders and take used glasses back to the bar by the edge of one of the pools.
The gym is small and clean, but was quiet so I was able to use everything I needed.
My partner paid for a massage spa treatment and returned feeling relaxed and revitalised. She felt the facilities were luxurious and professional to say the least. She wants to personally shout out her masseuse (Beatrice?) for the treatment.
We didn't take part in the sports but they had an array of sports and courts, including table tennis, tennis, volleyball and basketball to name only a few.
They also had an app that you let make bookings for sport and daily activities, as well as a timetable for live evening entertainment.
We ate at Portofino, Oceana and Bluewater Grill for our dinners. The food for each was amazing, as was the waiting staff. For breakfasts and lunches we ate at the World Cafe buffet. I've had a few buffets, but the food here was fresh and had a large array of options, catering to all dietary requirements. The service was also, again, quick and fantastic.
Lastly, there's an array of cats that live on the resort, we counted 6 but there may have been more that we missed. Each one was friendly and would approach, and while some would let you pet them, they'd soon realise you didn't have food and would walk away, so don't worry if cats aren't your thing.
We will definitely come back for another stay, maybe upgrade to the Preferred Luxury membership to see what the difference is.
If you are after a quiet, peaceful, luxurious stay in a clean hotel with staff that care about their guests, I highly recommend you come here.
We want to say thank you to all the staff for a pleasant stay, we wish we had stayed longer

Please see photo attached. We were based on the ground floor room. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed and sitting area. Balcony was very spacious complete with a drying rack which was very helpful. Being on the ground floor you might worry about privacy but there was a nice barrier between the main area and our balcony so it was fine.
Food & drink
Excellent overall. The breakfast buffet was great quality with a wide range of choices. Pancakes, waffles, full English, fruit, cereals are some examples. Plenty of the usual sauces on offer. Range of fruit juices as well as coffee machines and waiter service coffee/tea.
Lunch was typically a choice of 3 meats and 3 fishes. These were all cooked fresh which was fun to see. Then usually a range of prepared Spanish dish on one side and a range of English dishes (usually chips/pizza/chicken). There was pasta - again prepared fresh and sometimes paella. At the back was a good choice of build your own salad, as well as interesting ones such as Caesar salad or Greek salad. There was about 4-5 choices and they changed daily.
For dinner/tea we always ate at the t restaurants. There is 4 in total - Oceania, Portofino, Bluewater and Gohan. The first 2 are ‘for a;’ and require trousers for men and a collared shirt. I would definitely recommend you must try the first two - top quality food with a good range of fish dishes and an excellent steak in the first, then a good choice of pasta dishes ands pizza. Definitely a better quality than the buffet so you do feel you are having a more luxurious experience. We did not try Gohan but did try Bluewater. It was good, I had an excellent burger, but not as high quality as the other two. I have attached some example photos of the food.
For all inclusive you have 1 choice of white, red or rose wine. You have 1 choice of Cava. You also have 1 choice of beer- all of which were quite good. Fairly wide selection of spirits and all your usual soft drinks. The cocktail menu can be seen beforehand on the Hyatt app. There was a good choice of many classics including daiquiri , mojito, s*x on the beach, tequila sunrise, old fashioned and pina colada. They were your usual all inclusive strength i.e very strong.
Inside Hotel
The hotel is very impressive from when you arrive. It’s in a very secluded area, you feel very private staying here. When you arrive, you are treated like royalty. A staff member took our bags off us and gave us a glass of cava whilst waiting to check in. The check in receptionist was very kind, and allowed us to start our all inclusive before the room was ready (as we had arrived early). The previous staff member took our bags directly to the room which was a nice touch.
The main reception area is also the evening piano lounge. It’s spacious with plenty of seating and quite spectacular to see. Off the side of the lounge is a coffee shop - included in the all inclusive- which offers hot/cold coffee, milkshakes, soft drinks and a range of sweet snacks (10:30-5:30 on certain days).
There was an evening show every night from 9:30 - 10:30. Dinner was served from 7-10, so most people would go to eat 7:30/8:30 for the show. It was generally very good and was a range of singers such as guitar bands, jazz bands and even a dance troupe. There was no music before or after and no dance floor, so a fairly quiet evening, with the bar being dead after 11 and shut at midnight.
Outside Hotel
The outside is really spectacular , It’s a beautiful space. There is a large central pool - I really mean massive - and two smaller pools a layer down. The main pool was very cold during our stay, probably because of its size, whilst the smaller were warmer and during a particularly hot day, felt like being in a jacuzzi! One of them had these awesome sun beds to lie down on it the pool too.
There was a lot of sun beds. When we stayed the capacity was around 30% so we never struggled even if we went down to the pool at 10:30… often we would be the only ones! During peak I still feel there is a good amount. Each sun bed has an umbrella and table. There is some softer seating outside the hotel higher up which was nice in the evening but also available in the day for people preferring shade.
There is only one bar outside - it’s located within Bluewater. They may serve food during the day, we never could quite figure it out as we never saw anyone eating there. Service is generally good, we never queued for a drink, and waiters do go around the pool areas so you don’t need to leave your bed! Truthfully though they did seem to want to avoid your eye so you would need to be quite forward to get them to serve you which could be a pain if you’re a bit more reserved.
The preferred club was on the lowest level down. We didn’t upgrade to this and was quite glad as it was the busiest area during our stay which seemed ironic. The swim up rooms did look rather cool though and they had a nice bar in the middle of the pool which did look fun to sit it. But really the main hotel is very good anyway for ‘normal guests’
Located down two paths to either side of the preferred club is access to the ‘beach’. It’s not a sandy beach, rather a rocky beach, but does offer beautiful views and photo opportunities. There is also a walk to the left which takes you into the marina of Porto Calreo, a lovely place to walk if not a little quiet. But then again, that’s what this hotel is offering, quietness and solitude.
Conclusion
Overall this hotel is an excellent choice for anyone who is looking for a peaceful stay in Lanzarote. It is a poor choice for anyone looking for a party stay or lots of activities as again, the hotel is very very quiet. It offers a luxurious experience from the food it offers to the service it provides. Special mention to Ronaldo behind the piano bar who was our favourite.
I would recommend to anyone who is interested in staying here to download the Hyatt app. You can find the drinks menu, restaurant menus, activities and evening entertainment all on there to make sure it’s right for you!
Consider the preferred club if you have the money spare but equally we didn’t and still had a fantastic time and felt it didnt really stop us doing what we wanted.
If you are scared of cats, avoid Lanzarote in general. The ones at the hotel were very friendly but did like to get close.
Our only minor few points for the secrets team would be;
1. Consider adding some more cocktails to your menu such as a pornstar martini- your staff were all too happy to make them, why not advertise them too?
2. There is a sign outside which says ‘Havana bar’ and the app suggests its open in the evening, but yet we could not find any bar outside (other then Gohan when its open) so had to go inside to the piano bar to get drinks, which would often kindly be brought outside for us, - so did we miss it or does it not exist anymore?
3. Please consider offering a selection of takeaway cups for the coffee shop so people can enjoy a larger drink i.e milkshake/frappe/large iced coffee outside. Nobody really wants to be drinking these inside when it’s lovely and warm but you can’t take them out. Maybe take inspiration from Starbucks cups!
But overall, a solid 10/10!

Dear JamescU3393ZC, Thank you very much for sharing such a detailed and comprehensive review of your stay. We are delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience at our hotel. It’s great to know that you enjoyed both the facilities and the food and service provided. We especially appreciate your comments about the privacy of the ground floor rooms, as well as your observations on the quality and variety of our buffets and restaurants. We are pleased that you appreciated the attention to detail in our culinary options and the quality of the beverages. Your suggestions are also very valuable to us. Regarding your ideas for expanding the cocktail menu and the availability of takeaway cups at the coffee shop, we will certainly consider these for future improvements. Concerning the "Havana bar," we will investigate to clarify this confusion and ensure that the information on our app is up-to-date and accurate. We are glad to know that you found the outdoor areas impressive and that you enjoyed the tranquility and privacy we offer. We also appreciate your special mention of Ronaldo at the piano bar, and we will make sure to pass along your kind words. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and appreciate your constructive feedback. We are constantly working to improve and provide the best experience for our guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the near future. Thank you for recommending us and for choosing us for your stay in Lanzarote! Best regards, Alejandro Borges, Assitant Guest Experience Manager.

Lovely Hotel, staff very friendly and always with a smile. Rooms are spacious with large wash area and a very good powerful rain shower. Multiple pools all kept very well with large sunbathing areas. We paid an offer price of €70 pp for the Spa access after arriving normally €95 which gives you access to for entire stay to a small sun lounge area which has shelter from any strong breeze, SPA pool, Sauna, steam room, range of different showers and more. Staff in the SPA were very helpful and credit to the hotel. The tea room is a lovely idea where you can sit down and have a cuppa with a few biscuits in-between using the facilities.

Secrets Lanzarote is part of the Hyatt Collection, but at times it did not live up to our expectations of Hyatt. The location is great, easy for the airport, a 10 minute walk to The Marina, and this is the first place I have ever found where there are more sun loungers than people, which is a huge relief when on holiday. We had paid for the ‘Privileged’ level of accommodation and food which gave us access to all the restaurants, and a more secluded area of the pool, which was also more sheltered then the main area, and had the all important waiter service. As a ‘Privileged’ guest breakfast was in Portofino which was an excellent, a big selection freshly prepared on the a la carte menu, plus selection of fruits, pastries and cereals. Dinner was more hit and miss, we had a great meal in Oceana Seafood restaurant one evening, and then cold food the next time. Unfortunately you also have to wait outside in a queue to be shown to your table which was a slow task, and very cold waiting, but the suggestion of putting some patio heaters in the queue area was not appreciated. The ‘Customer Experience Manager’ Christina was not to Hyatt standards, she did nothing to speed the queue, and even walking around the restaurant as if she was the queen, never once asked guests if everything was to standard. I have been to many Hyatts over the years and service is always one of their strengths, with the manager motivating the team, not looking down on them. Louis our waiter was excellent, he apologised for our cold food, and told Christina, but until we called her over she was not prepared to apologise. Bluewater Grill restaurant for a steak on hot coals at your table was also excellent, albeit a bit chilly outside in January. I have an allergy to a number of desert ingredients, and when offered a desert in all three a la carte restaurants I asked instead for some fresh fruit, only to be told I could only have one of the three deserts and they didn’t have any fruit - well there was always a lot on display at breakfast? I did ask Christina for some fruit and she was very blunt in her negative reply, as expected. In the piano bar there were various singers every evening, and table service from some great waiters, the best being Anthony and Eddie, full of energy, but when busy service can be slow preparing drinks, maybe a few more cocktail bar staff . Finally, classic Hyatt excellence with the Spa, very expensive but you pay for what you get, best therapist Daniel, he was brilliant, the whole experience was perfect and quite theatrical.

Dear C925QYjamesb, We are deeply sorry to hear that you did not fully enjoy your experience at our hotel, as we work hard every day to make every stay unforgettable. We have carefully reviewed your feedback, and we would like to take this opportunity to clarify certain aspects of your opinion and communicate them properly. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed the excellent location, the availability of sunbeds, the service at the spa, and the quality and variety of our restaurants on most occasions. We are also happy to hear that some members of the team, such as Luis, Anthony, Eddie, and Daniel, were positively appreciated. Regarding your suggestions about restaurant queues and heaters, as I mentioned to you that evening, I took note and it has been addressed with the management team. In any case, I would recommend that our guests bring a jacket to the restaurants in the evening, as temperatures are lower at this time of year, in case the heaters are not sufficient in the outdoor restaurants. I would also like to clarify that I did not identify myself as the manager of the team, and that, had you requested it, although I am perfectly qualified to handle any issues that may arise during your stay, the manager would have been more than happy to assist you. One of my multiple roles in the team is to be present in the restaurant, ensuring that our guests are satisfied or resolving any issues they may encounter. That is why I spoke with the chef to ensure you had a varied fruit plate (which we never deny, we simply mentioned it would take a little longer). It is also the reason I offered to place service orders for you multiple times to avoid waiting in the restaurants, although you declined. On another occasion, I apologised and offered you a new dish at the correct temperature when you mentioned your meal was cold, but you ultimately said you did not want another one. Once again, I apologise for the inconveniences you experienced, and I hope you will give us another chance in the future. I would also appreciate it if you could rate me or any other team member based on our work and not on other factors, such as the way we walk. Best regards, Cristina Alonso, Guest Experience Team.

Just returned from my latest visit to this fabulous hotel as a solo traveler. I have experienced this hotel pre and immediately post Covid and it has worked its way through these difficult times and gone from strength to strength. Its a beautiful hotel, tastefully decorated and in a lovely quiet location with amazing views over to Fuertaventura, but it’s true strength and value is in the amazing staff who work so hard there every day to try and make your stay as near perfect as possible. From the moment you walk into the beautiful reception area and are greeted with a glass of cava and refreshing towels you know this is going to be good. Let’s face facts, there is no such thing as a perfect hotel, there will always be the odd hiccup like something goes wrong with the AC but the true quality of a good hotel is evident from the way any problem is dealt with . Here the Guest services team led by Laura Lopez are always ready to help, they are a hard working group who put in long hours and nothing is ever too minor to bring to their attention and is dealt with promptly. The rooms are a good size, light and airy and the pool and outside areas are always clean, and repeatedly being cleaned. The marina is only a 10 minute stroll away and has a large range of Restaurants, but I have always been happy with the varied choice of restaurants in the hotel itself. The Bar and restaurant staff are attentive, and helpful, don’t miss Sergio in the lobby bar with his wicked sense of humour! it’s just a shame you can no longer eat at the preferred lounge bar looking out over the sea, but for some bizarre reason you now have to go downstairs to an area next to a sandy enclave, under umbrellas and no atmosphere or views of the sea…….and when breezy you better enjoy sand in your food ! Still hopefully that will be rectified. It’s an adults only hotel for those looking for a peaceful holiday with NO sun bed wars or 6 a.m race for beds, plenty of comfy sunbeds all around. The perfect place to recharge your batteries……. I will be back…….

We stayed at the hotel 2023, this was my third visit after 2 previous great holidays. The third visit was particularly disappointing for a number of reasons listed below:
• Sunbeds all taken and the reserving of beds starting at 7.30-8.30am, most taken before early breakfast. We let the staff know and they didn’t remove any towels, lots stayed on empty beds all day until the sun went down • There is an old fashioned rule that men must wear collared shirts, long trousers and shoes. We were ‘not’ made aware of this before our holiday prior to booking or packing, and on our first dinner the staff sent back us to our room to change clothing. My husband was wearing smart shorts and only had thick denim jeans, it was so hot he was sweating and it certainly ruined what was supposed to be a nice holiday dinner. Others in the restaurant were wearing shorts and also not collared shirts with mixed rules.
• Insects in my porridge at breakfast • Insects in my pasta dish for dinner
• We had 300 euros of other rooms bills for dinner, added to our room in error, on two separate occasions
• Our sea view room was outside a cleaning and storage cupboard, we were woken daily around 5-7am, by glass bottles unloaded and moving around trolleys - we didn’t let staff know as they had been frosty when we asked about sun beds
• The hotel does not have enough sun beds for the no. of rooms. The seperate Preferred Club area needs to be removed as in the main pool area there is not enough enough space to accommodate paying hotel guests, and the preferred club pool with loads of beds and empty space.
• The spa at the hotel is lovely and padel courts great
• A member of staff at the bar was rude one evening, after waiting 10 mins at the bar, I asked to order a drink and he snapped at me. There wqs no seats for table service to watch the show, so we stood - after being snapped at we went back to our room and missed the show.
Advice to hotel management - close the pool area until 10am, with rope/gates or similar. Ensure the towel guard removes towels after 15 mins. Hire more staff as the staff are clearly working very hard and doing their best. Remove preferred club swimming pool and the hotel will have enough sun loungers for everyone (you can only get a sun bed if you rush out of bed at 8am)

Dear Yorkshire_travels1, Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay at Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa. We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations during your third visit, especially after two previous enjoyable stays. Regarding the sunbeds, we want to reassure you that our policy does not allow the reservation of sunbeds, and we do instruct our staff to remove towels from those left unattended for more than an hour. We regret if this was not enforced to your satisfaction during your stay. As for the dress code, this information is available on our website and app, and we also provide it during check-in. While the dress code primarily restricts shorts for men in our Oceana and Portofino restaurants, we apologize if this created discomfort for your dining experience. We also sincerely regret the issues with the erroneous charges and noise near your room. We understand how these inconveniences can affect the overall enjoyment of your stay. We appreciate your compliments regarding our spa and padel courts, and your valuable suggestions regarding improvements in our pool and staffing are well noted. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide a stay that exceeds your expectations. Kind regards, Alejandro Borges, Assistant Guest Experience Manager.

We’ve just come to the end of a lovely week at Secrets Lanzarote and I’m writing this from a comfy chair as we wait for our taxi back to the airport.
Firstly, the greats stuff about the hotel:
The food: probably the best selection of hotel food I’ve ever had. Multiple restaurants open for long periods of the day and different cuisines for every day. My wife is a bit of a picky eater and there were largely some safer options on the menus, but the buffet selection wasn’t all that “picky eater friendly”. But for foodies looking for a v good hotel food menu, you’ll be happy!
The drinks: probably the best cocktail menu I’ve seen at a hotel. Some premium spirits and a good selection of extra-premium that aren’t included on AI if you want to splurge. Good coffee, soft drinks and water easily available.
(You can download the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app and see the full menu of both)
The rooms: we had a Double Preferred Ocean View which had a slightly obscured view from the balcony, but we spend so little time there that it really isn’t an issue. Good views of the sunset over the headland. Large, spacious rooms with plenty of storage space and a chair to relax on. Big, powerful shower and “his & hers” sinks are perfect. Cleaned and turned down daily, with a really handy “amenities” request service via the app for extra towels, etc.
The pools: clean, quite, plenty of beds and good options of sun & shade. The main pool is long enough to swim properly in, and there are multiple more relaxed pools.
Preferred club / unlimited luxury: definitely worth it! A well placed room, better lunch & breakfast selection and the private pool & bar area is worth the upgrade for sure.
And now the “not so great”…
The ONLY thing that we had to complain about was the service. I will say that there are some fantastic members of the team, but unfortunately the overall standard of service is poor for a 5* resort.
A couple of less polite members of staff including one particular member of the Guest Experience team who is also a main host as the restaurants. These team members just take the shine off the experience.
These main issue though is that the service is SO SLOW. Either in some restaurants, or at the piano bar in the evening. Their lack of attention, speed of service etc means it can take forever to eat - and can really struggle to get a top up of wine at dinner.
My advice would be that the better members of the team spend time training the slower and less friendly members. That would make the resort a true 5*.

From the second we arrived at this beautiful hotel we were made to feel extremely welcome by the friendly smiley reception staff. We were given a glass of cava on arrival and shown to our lovely room which was at ground level, in a quiet location and perfect. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows, we slept very well each night. There were no 'door bangers' just respectful guests as you'd expect in a 5 star hotel. We stayed from Monday to Friday on a bed and breakfast basis but also ate lunch at the Barefoot Grill beside the pool and we had dinner at the buffet restaurant World Cafe each night for €30 each. When you arrive you will be given a voucher to enjoy dinner at the World Cafe with 30% discount with drinks included. The food is excellent, which is why we chose to eat there every night rather than down at the marina. The effort made with every dish is outstanding, the staff are attentive and are quick to clear your plates and ask if you'd like a drink, true 5 star service from every member of staff, always smiling and welcoming. There's something to suit everyone's tastes at breakfast and dinner, you won't go hungry! The pool areas are relaxing and quiet, no annoying loud music playing, just peace and tranquility and there are plenty of sunbeds to choose from. We found all the guests to be respectful of others and there were no loud groups of people, the hotel was full of mainly couples relaxing. This is the perfect couples retreat, so perfect we booked our next visit for 2025 whilst relaxing on one of the Balinese beds. You can hire the private beds for €35 a day and this includes a bottle of cava with fresh fruit and nuts delivered to the bed around lunchtime and a beautiful view of the sea, we did this on two of the 4 days we were there. The marina is a short walk away and has plenty of restaurants to choose from if you fancy something other than 5 star delicious food. There isn't a sandy beach at the hotel and this is made clear in the hotel description when you book, however, you can take a trip to Playa Del Carmen which isn't far away or you can catch a ferry to Fuertoventura if a beach is what you're after, however, the outside area of the hotel with the pools, beautiful cacti, palm trees and relaxing atmosphere meant we didn't venture too far. A relaxing 5 star holiday was what we planned and Secrets Lanzarote did not disappoint. I recommend you booking this hotel if you're looking for a restful holiday, with plenty of sunshine, delicious food and excellent service. Top tips: Hire a Balinese bed Try their delicious Pina Colada Enjoy a cava or two at breakfast Relax and take it easy Take a walk up the mountains to the right of the hotel or to the marina to the left if you want to stretch your legs
We can't wait to return next year!

Very nice adults only hotel, the previous reviews on TA are fair and accurate, this is a very nice, well run, quality hotel. So why not a 5 star review?
Well, we booked Half Board, Preferred, with Deluxe Ocean view room which was very nice and worth the extra and we booked direct on the Hyatt’s website. When you read the website, you are led to believe that that package gives you access to all the A. La Carte restaurants for evening meals (HB basis, preferred); this is not the case. You only get a 20% discount in the 3 restaurants. The World Cafe is very nice and part of the HB package.
So, when checking in, to learn of the above restriction was disappointing. The pre sales material is simply not transparent enough; I put his down to me not reading the details enough, HOWEVER, when we started to talking to other guests on the same package during our stay everybody, and I mean everybody all made the same comment. Several couples, including us, raised this with reception and responded with a voucher for one meal upgrade. It is worth pointing out that all the HB couples involved in the discussion booked through agents and also directly with Hyatts. TIP - down load the App onto your phone, set the hotel location then read all the details BEFORE BOOKING, they are buried away nice and deep App.
The hotel has a very nice spa, not included in the price, 70 Euro per person for a week is worth the money if you enjoy a daily spa.
I hope Hyatt responds to this HB feedback because the hotel is fully aware of the HB dinning issue and their own marketing material, needs improving.
Apart from the above, first class stay and highly recommend for a luxury relaxing stay.

Dear grahamjanec, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your recent stay with us. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed many aspects of your visit, including our adults-only ambiance, the quality of our hotel, and the Deluxe Ocean View room, which you found to be a worthwhile upgrade. Your recommendation for a luxury, relaxing stay means so much to us. We also sincerely appreciate your constructive feedback regarding the Half Board package. We are sorry to hear about the confusion surrounding the dining inclusions and understand how disappointing it must have been to discover that after arrival. We’re glad to hear that our team was able to offer a voucher for a meal upgrade during your stay, but we acknowledge that the initial miscommunication should not have occurred in the first place. Please know that your feedback, and that of other guests who raised similar concerns, has been shared with our management team and the marketing department to improve the booking process and better align our communication with guest expectations. Additionally, we’re pleased you had the chance to enjoy the spa and found it to be a worthwhile part of your stay. Thank you again for taking the time to provide us with such thoughtful feedback. We truly value your insights, as they help us improve and ensure a seamless, first-class experience for all our guests. We hope to welcome you back in the future and provide you with a stay worthy of a full 5-star review! Warm regards, Laura López Guest Experience Manager

We spend Christmas and new year at this hotel this year The hotel is a lovely hotel but it could be amazing with a few changes Somewhere to sit other than the chill out adults only zone which is lovely but there’s not enough seating Rather than have setees maybe put table and chairs in as well Some where to have a drink or coffee in the sunshine as the only other area to sit in the sun is the smoking area and as a non smoker id prefer not to sit there There is plenty of sun loungers though The food is really good at the hotel and they really did make an effort on Christmas night and New Year’s Eve The rooms are great However the cleaners weren’t the best You can choose when you want them to clean we chose every two days and they literally made the bed, gave fresh towels and new toilet rolls
More bars to be open during the day would be a bonus too
Sebastian who works in the bar areas is an asset to this hotel totally profession, Friendly and hardworking
Lovely hotel

Dear Z2939WPdeborahs, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback about your stay at our hotel over Christmas and New Year. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed many aspects of your visit, including the festive celebrations, the quality of our food, and the comfort of our rooms. It's wonderful to know that Sebastian left such a positive impression, your kind words about his professionalism and dedication will certainly be passed on to him. We truly value your suggestions on how we can enhance our guests' experience. Your feedback about increasing seating options in outdoor areas, creating more non-smoking spaces for enjoying drinks or coffee in the sunshine, and potentially opening additional bars during the day is invaluable. These insights will be shared with our management team as we strive to improve our facilities. We also appreciate your comments regarding housekeeping. We aim to ensure all aspects of our service meet the highest standards, and we’ll address this with our team to make sure expectations are consistently met. Thank you for choosing to celebrate such a special time of year with us. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the future, and we’re committed to making your next visit even more enjoyable. Warm regards, Cristina Alonso, Guest experience team.

Jeans are acceptable but shorts are not. Most men wore trousers although as long as it's not shorts and open toe shoes then you should be fine.
This is only for the a la carte restaurants, the others accept less formal dress code.
There are more places to choose from in the Puerto Calero area.
