The hotel is dilapidated and in disrepair. I don't know if it has changed ownership or simply has extremely poor management, but despite the building's beauty it is obviously neglected and a mess. The room I was put in was on the bottom floor. The chair was broken, the bathroom lamp was broken and lying on the counter. The counters...

Stayed in one of the standard rooms downstairs. The terrace is impressive...And that's about it. Room was ok, nothing to write home about. But the toilet was rather dirty, and I had to give the toilet seat a rinse. Toilet flooded a little and the water leaked out into the room after that. There was also only lukewarm water in...

Stayed 2 nights in this old palace boutique hotel. From the terasse you have a magnifcant view towards the Mesopotamian lowlands. The hotel is in the middle of the old part of Mardin a neighbourhood with an intact, authentic life around (market, residential, ...). At night it was very quiet. The basaar and the main Mardin attractions are just a...

I stayed for 4 days in the lux room of the hotel. Of course, I feeled myself there like in the tale. Its very beatiful large room in the style of old East. Old walls, old halls, old windows and whole stone house keep the spirit of old time. I liked it very much. But there are two claims. The...

I loved my stay here. It's a beautiful place, well located, great views from the terrace across the Mesopotamian plains. I would agree with the comments about the service; I didn't meet a manager but there were two young lads on reception, I did have to ask for things a couple of times, but they were super sweet and friendly....

Tatlidede Konagi has an excellent location. It overlooks the valley. I spent two nights there in June, 2014. The room we stayed was spacious. However the service was not as good as we expected. The staff was helpful. The guide we hired through the hotel was very knowledgable and he did an excellent job in showing us the area. Mardin...

We got there easily after 10 min walk from the center (although cars can also get there) and got a free upgrade from oy standard room to one of the best suites. Wish we could stay for more than the one night we planned. Staff doesn't speak much English but they were very kind, offering complimentary drinks and quite helpful...

I am a photographer and went to Mardin last month to take photos of my photography project with friends. We booked rooms of this hotel on web beforehand. This hotel is an old mansion with beautiful view. It only takes about 10 min to walk to the Square of the city center and main street. The boss of the hotel...

Loved this place, old "konak" with great architecture. Stayed only one night, which could stay longer. Room was very nice and clean. Authentic place so do not expect a normal regular hotel, it is an old house converted to a hotel. Breakfast was really nice. We had it outside with a great view of mardin. Highly recommended.

It is really great and the view is stunning!!! You feel like staying with Aladdin and the staff is really kind! Do not forget to drink your tea at the terrace of the hotel! If you facing some problems the staff is willing to help you. I would recommend it.
