If you are looking to relax this is the place. We had five amazing days on the island a few of which we were just two of about six people total. this is the place if you are looking to sit on the beach or relax in a hammock without a dozen vendors coming up to try to sell you...

St. George's Caye, 7 miles off the coast of Belize City. Airport collection and transfer by boat to the Caye was all arranged by the resort. What to expect from St. Georges; a sincerely warm personal greeting on arrival and rum punch! A Beautiful rustic setting. Absolutely wonderful staff, great food and great service. If you want to get away...

The resort was clean, quiet and the staff was fabulous! We enjoyed nature, spa treatments, family style dining (fresh and delicious - including 2 vegetarians!) and excursions. The river tour to the Mayan ruins was simply beautiful - like something out of a movie. Even with a rainy start to the day, we all had a great time. There was...

From the moment we arrived on the island until the moment we departed yesterday, everything was wonderful! We were greeted at the dock by Jahnene with a rum cocktail and taken to our bungalows... a nice touch! Each of the staff smiles and are available to insure you have the best experience possible in my opinion! They genuinely appear to...

St. George's Caye is a quiet piece of heaven! If you want parties and lights this is not the place for you. If you want a quiet get away only surrounded by 25 or so people this is it!!! Its a quick cab ride to the dock from the airport. Its about a 10-15 minute boat ride from the dock...

This was by far the worst place we have ever stayed in ! (we travelled more than 60 countries with al kinds of beach resorts and hotels) Everything in St. George's Caye is dirty and run down. The huts are small, dark and full of bugs, Forget about "tropical paradise" : nobody cares to clean enormous heaps of stinky sea...

It is fortunate that readers will look at several reviews for St. George's and not take this one too seriously as a result. I happened to be at the resort when this guest arrived and unfortunately there was nothing I or my staff could do to turn their attitude around. Our staff, as always, bent over backwards to accommodate their...

First let me start by saying the staff were very friendly and did a nice job. We had an ocean view cabana, but I have to say it was not very clean. The ceiling fan had about three inches of dust and stuff on it and it was right over the bed. Then since the cabanas are not sealed tight...

St George's Caye resort is a gorgeous, quiet, secluded boutique resort on a small private island just minutes from Belize City by boat.
