Although the hotel could do with a refurb, the prices reflect this. Our room was clean and warm; bar and food prices are excellent. Lovely breakfast in very pleasant restaurant. Beware that music is VERY LOUD Fridays and Saturdays (not sure about the rest of the week). Saying that, the bands were excellent on our visit and we enjoyed listening...

When we booked our room the price on TripAdvisor was £45 but we ended up paying £55. We wasn't happy but could not do nothing about either pay or don't have the room we even had the email to confirm £55

Hotel looked refurbished on the ground floor and was really nice, bedroom was clean but no towel rail and the tap was a bit loose, other than that it was good. The entertainment was good and the alcohol was reasonably priced.

Whilst visiting my Dad yesterday there was just no question where to have our Sunday lunch, (he's a regular visitor) and as normal it was amazing, lots of FRESH veg, they didn't mind at all that we asked for more veg even though they...

This is completely a false review! As we had three contractors staying in the hotel on this particular date, no couples. If you are going to go out of your way to make false reviews, please make sure you get your facts right! I would suggest that the person who wrote this false review is a 'turd'.

Stayed for the weekend. Staff was friendly and helpful, the food was good, entertainment was lively, but the hotel needed freshening up especially the bedrooms but they were comfortable and warm and plenty of hot water.
