We decided to have a change from our usual hotel (The Hydro) in Llandudno and chose the Seabank hotel In Porthcaul. The hotel itself is looking somewhat tired and could really do with a lick of paint on the exterior, Inside looking tired as well but its clean, and the staff are truly wonderful. All the bathrooms seem to have...

The Hotel overlooks the sea. It is situated on the promenade overlooking the sea. The room we had overlooked the sea, but could do with a little refurbishment were the bay window was concerned. The room was spacious and the cleanliness was very good. Staff at the Hotel were friendly, pleasant and helpful;. Food was good and the Hotel can...

We've stayed at many an Alfa / Leisureplex hotel meeting elderly in laws on coach trips. Each hotel has offered the same value for money, clean, great location and friendly staff package. This is what Alfa trade on and they do it well. Most rooms, public and guest, are in severe need of refurbishment and the menu gets boring -...

We were seeing a show at The Pavilion and decided to make a night of it and booked a double room with a sea view. On arrival we were struck at how outdated the reception and public areas were. It was stepping back into the 70s. However our room more than made up for it. It was a big room...

One of Leisureplex's best. Good car parking. Usual Leisureplex menu but better cooked and served than others. All staff very good and friendly. Good entertainment in evenings. Great position on promenade and good views. The room we stayed in was huge and looked to be original 1930's art deco. The contestants on "Four in a bed" would criticize it and...

The room was adequate and clean with an excellent shower. The food was, as usual, very good, as is the case with all Leisure hotels, and served quickly and efficiently by nice staff. The hotel is just a short walk from the main shops We had entertainment nightly, with really good artists and also a short session of bingo.. It...

Stayed at Seabank Hotel Porthcawl courtesy of Alfa Coach tours from N.West. Found this hotel, on the quieter end of the seafront, to be very presentable and offered clean and tidy rooms with excellent housekeeping. The resaurant was run efficiently with attentive staff and delicious home cooked food. Can't comment on entertainment as we were out walking most nights. Excellent...

We turned up on the off chance as our intended night camping was washed out nearby. The price was good at £85, I think. The hotel isn't 5 star but is clean and tidy. The bar areas and dining room were nice with friendly staff. There were 3 coach parties of mainly pensioners there when we stayed but, the way...

Just returned from holiday, stayed at sea bank hotel porthcawl. Front of hotel could do with a coat of paint. Inside clean but a bit dated. The room we had was a fair size but very dark, you needed he light on all day, as it looked out onto four walls. The bathroom has just been refurbished. Staff very friendly...

Visited on a self drive for 4 nights booked directly with the hotel. Really fantastic room ( 232 ) spectacular sea view and very clean. Food was average but plentiful, service was first class. Bar staff were really friendly but thought wine by the glass expensive. Reception staff were excellent, my mother had a health problem, reception contacted the local...
