The waves in Rendezvous Bay are somewhat calm, so even if sitting on the sand it'd be hard to hear the waves. Most rooms are at leasts a few hundred feet from the beach. This is a GREAT and affordable place to stay in my opinion though. If you want to hear waves while sleeping though, this wouldn't be the wavy part of the island.
