We consider ourselves regulars at the sandown lodge now as we normally stay 2 - 3 times a year on racedays. It is a perfect venue for a race day stay over, all staff are extremely friendly and always helpful, if room ready an early check has been offered, parking no problem. After a day at races an evening out...

I have stayed in the Lodge on several occasions, the staff are very professional and welcoming. The rooms are excellent especially the refurbished part of the lodge. Parking is easy and the location gives easy access to Esther high street which offers plenty of places to eat and drink.

Stayed for one night , paid £90 for a double room only to be given a twin which was not the option I selected. Room is very dated but good selection of the/ coffee. Bathroom again, is dated. Could not tell hot tap from cold and when you eventually got it right for a shower it just went from hot...

Just stayed at the Lodge whilst visiting family. Best value in the area. Comfy, clean rooms, with nice touches such as free wi-fi, tea, coffee, biscuits & toiletries. Breakfast included and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff.

For sure it is not a palace and the hotel is a little old. But... the rooms are clean, the people are happy and smiling and they do their best. And if you planed to go to a race, there is no place on earth with a better location. It's also very closed from the center of the city

Stayed here Bank Holiday weekend for a charity event. Rooms seemed ok at first however things quickly went downhill. We noticed spiders in all the gaps in the ceiling in small clusters. Not that bothered as only small spiders and on the ceiling. Went to visit the bathroom and the spiders were actually crawling up the door frames and webs...

The accommodation is fairly basic but the room was nice and comfortable and the bathroom was perfectly well equipped. Everything was clean and we had a very nice welcome from Jane and other staff. There is plenty of parking space in front of the Lodge. There are lots of nice places to eat very close by in Esher and the...

Visiting Esher and Sandown Park Racecourse for the first time. About the only outstanding feature of this hotel apart from the vast majority of staff is the location. Could hardly be closer to both the racecourse and Esher Main St with restaurants and bars. Based on these factors alone I would come back to this hotel if returning to the...
