Detailed Reviews
The Lanterna Hotel is located at old private house so atmosphere were very cosy. Our room was quite small but managed to have 2 separate bed,s as well cabinet, writing table with chair as well TV, and the bed's were comfortable. Toilets + showers were shared one at corridor but there were 3 of them, so enough to serve all customers and they were clean and fresh. Special mention for a nice breakfast served to the table. Location is very good, between the center and harbour.

+1
Nagu is a tiny place so the Hotel Lanterna could not be more centred as it is right now. In the middle of everything. As one can read from previous comments it is situated in a previous private house.
During our stay they used self check-in which went without any problems according to advice received via SMS. If one does not expect 5-star service and large halls this charming hotel will suit you very well. There's plenty of positive things to tell: clean room with private bathroom (room 11), nice breakfast area, good breakfast in spite of covid-19 regulations, on first floor coffee maker, water cooker and microwave oven, super strong water pressure in shower (best ever) and plenty of hot water, restaurant just over the yard etc. Just a couple of minor negative things: the bathroom floor was a bit too chilly in September and I couldn't find a sink plug. That last one is a fact faced in most hotels I have visited.
This is a place with right standards and a good choise for those wanting to have more than just B&B.

How beautiful and old fashioned little hotel! The room was functional but still oldish but in a good way. Little noisy room because of the thin walls but the night time was quite. The location was perfect, in the middle of Nauvo.
Breakfast was lovely and was served to the table. Nice little dining room and kind staff.. warmly recommended.

Very nice B&B, clean rooms, friendly service & good breakfast. Dinner at L'Escale was amazing! I also recommend to hire a bike and explore the small villages near by. Better to travel late August when there are not that many tourist anymore.

The house, the garden and the little cafe are simply adorable. The whole place has a fairytale like feeling - as a kid I imagined Pippi Longstocking's house would look something like this.
Service was friendly and relaxed, breakfast was good and everything went very smoothly. I'm not sure how the breakfast usually works, though. We were told that it'll be served at 8:45, sharp. We didn't mind because we wanted to catch the 9:20 ferry, but had we had other plans that would have felt weird.
The room in the upper floor was small but super cute. It was for two people but we were three so paid extra and they got us an extra bed. It wasn't a good one: it fell down when my friend sat on it, almost hurting herself. Actually there was one specific spot on that bed where you could sit without it falling apart. Sleeping in it was stressful - the other two beds were comfy.
It's true that Lanterna is more like B&B and less like a hotel. We shared the toilets and showers with other guests, but the toilets were clean and we didn't have to wait even once.
I would give the place a 4 or even a 5 but the price brings the rating down to 3.
120 euros was simply too much for a tiny room with shared toilet no matter how cute the building. Still, a good experience!

The timber building is pretty and 5 minutes walk to everything in Nagu, including the bus stop from Turku. The owners were helpful with good suggestions of what to do in the area. Our room was small, but the beds were comfy and we could open the window to get fresh air at night. Breakfast was generous - yoghurt with nuts, dried fruit and a jam/compote, a basket of mixed bread and a plate of cheese, salami, tomato, cucumber and fruit, tea, coffee and juice. We were very happy to stay there.

Good location, pretty rooms. Very friendly couple who run the place. A nice and cosy place. Unfortunately we got a feeling they don't need to try harder as they can set room prices quite high as there aren't too many options available. Breakfast was cute but a little too less. I could recommend Lanterna only if their prices were lower.

Romantic and charming interior in an old wooden house. Very quiet and pleasant. Located in the center of the charming Nauvo village with nearby services like food stores, restaurants and bars. The harbour and beaches are just around the corner. Affordable room prices. Small rooms, 2 shared bathrooms on both floors. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly.

We stayed for one night during a bike trip. Got friendly service Brother in the reception and in the Absinth bar. Room was rather small but comfortable and nice.
Location in the marina could not be better.
What i liked best was the atmosphere of small old fashioned but well kept house and garden.
