We found this café to be quite impressive. Great pastries and very nice Italian ice cream. The city of Nagu, however, is far from welcoming for tourists, especially if you are on a motorhome. Then you are decidedly not welcome. There is nowhere to throw garbage away, nowhere to empty or fill your tanks, and unless you are willing to "bend" the law a bit, nowhere to park your camper overnight. This city is geared towards rich yacht owners and the wealthy who are willing to pay €€€ to stay at their boutique hotels. The rest can just keep going down the road. Beware.
The entire house with a few very pretty bedrooms (with great beds, elegant ensuite bathrooms and great airconditioning) has been completely renovated and decorated tastefully, with the archipelago feeling. I would have rated this with the top marks, but for the nearly non-existing sound proofing. You can hear every movement from upstairs to the room below. If this does not bother you, then this is probably one of the best places to stay in the region.
This lovely cafe-restaurant in the centre of Nauvo [Nagu] also offers accommodation. Their B&b opened in 2016. Room prices are somewhat overly priced -a double room costs €125 per night. Rooms are newly renovated, clean and beautiful but there’s no soundproofing. You can hear your neighbors speak and their telly through the walls 😐 I recommend taking ear plugs with you if you’re a light sleeper. A decent breakfast was served downstairs in the cafe and included lovely full fat yogurt, muesli, bread, croissants, ham, cheese, some greens, fruit, porridge and juice and coffee/tea. You can eat out in the garden. Breakfast was ok but wouldn’t pay €12 for it if I were a regular cafe customer.
Pretty guesthouse on the edge of Nagu with a nuce restaurant and garden area. It isnt the best location as it is opposite a petrol station, but our stay was comfortable and we didn't mind being a minute or so walk away from the harbour side.
We were a group of 6 persons, 3 double rooms. The hotel is new, opened in May 2016. Just 4 rooms, the ones downstairs are big, bright and luminous. The one upstairs are a little smaller. The one on the back is cooler, as the one on the other side has the sun shining in most of the day. Windows can be opened. We loved the table and chairs on the side towards the old shed. It is between room 3 and 4. Very nice indeed. It is true that you hear everything from the rooms upstairs. (toilet flush, shower, foot steps. But we did´t find it disturbing, the beds (single) are big and very very comfy. Breakfast in the bright & luminous cafe room, unfortunately it was raining so we couldn+t sit outside in the garden. Breakfast nice.
