Have again just made our annual trip to Masham to collect the pin of Old Peculiar. Have again stayed at the Kings Head which as usual was an absolute pleasure. The rooms, food and drink were top notch and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. A particular mention to Gill the manageress for whom nothing was too much...

Situated in the lovely village of Masham, we enjoyed our initial stay so much that we booked again a couple of nights later. The rooms on the courtyard are well furnished and unique, each with their own character. The service is great and the food is excellent. I'm booking again!

My boyfriend and i spend a nights here in the hotel and we cant praise the staff & service highly enough!! On arrival, the lovely young man on reception (i think his name was 'james'!) was super-friendly and gave us the choice of a room 'inside' the pub or 'outside' in the courtyard at the back of the pub. I...

Stayed here early December as close to The Black Sheep and Theakstons Breweries. Staff were helpful, food all good, and our room The Byre was perfect - an upgrade when we arrived. Masham is a lovely little step back in time town. We will returnin the summer.

Stayed for 3 night long weekend chill out. Lovely room, very clean and comfortable. Had a small problem with our evening meal, this was professionally dealt with and a discount given. All staff really friendly and welcoming. Good pub grub and well kept real ale. Theakstons Old Peculier 500 yards from the brewery who could ask for more. Excellent Yorkshire...

Lovely bar & hotel. Our room (the Stable) was excellent, as was the breakfast. Disappointed we couldnt get a table for evening meal as there was only 2 of us, but we'll book in advance next time. Would definitely recommend.

I organised a very important Christmas event for my top customers and we stayed at the Kings. James did a superb job looking after us. His attention to detail was fantastic and he made sure that we all had a fantastic time by making us feel special and very welcome. It can be stressful trying to make sure that a...

Very good experience of using the hotel's meeting rooms, bedrooms, bar and breakfast facilities. Around 25 of us in all, well catered for at lunchtime, good meeting facilities, comfortable rooms, a well stocked and properly tended bar and an excellent breakfast for those of us who finally surfaced!

The room was comfortable and sufficient for my needs. I ate breakfast and an evening meal in the restaurant and found the food and service excellent. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
