My wife and I feel it appropriate to congratulate the King's Head Hotel Masham for a marvellous turn around. We reviewed the hotel back in August after a terrible stay there and feel it necessary to do the same after a pre and post Christmas stay. The turn around in how the hotel is being run is phenomenal. The staff...

We have visited the restaurant several times in the past and it has always been reasonable but sometimes the service let it down...we never saw the same person more than twice. However we took my mother for her birthday meal and we noticed a difference immediately. We were greeted straight away, no more hanging about in the lobby and shown...

Have just spent three nights at this hotel for work. I have to say the best cooked breakfast ever! The room was lovely and clean, the staff welcoming and helpful. Easy parking and a good menu for evening meal should you want to stay put. Will definitely be staying there again

The welcome was good and attentive at this hotel situated in the centre of this lovely Yorkshire market town. The room clean and the bar service good. The food was typical pub food, not great but good value and ample. We will return

We had a fabulous time, very warm welcome and all staff very helpful. Lovely open fire in the pub and dogs are allowed in some bedrooms and some public areas in the hotel. We had both the continental and cooked breakfast, both were presented and cooked to a high standard.

It was such a nice day on Bank Holiday Monday that my wife and I went for a drive in the Dales. Feeling thirsty at about 3.00pm we called in to the delightful market town of Masham. Surprisingly, it was like a ghost town with very few places open. The King's Head is a very large hotel in the market...

We stayed New Years eve in a court yard room, really nice and comfortable. The meal was beautiful, the staff are really friendly and couldnt do enough to help. We had a great night and look forward to visiting again soon.

We stayed at a local hotel (see Bay Horse Inn, Masham review) in the village and popped into The King's Head for a few drinks on New Year's Eve (approx 2:30pm). Unlike the busy, bustling and friendly atmosphere of other local pubs, our experience at the King's Head was in stark contrast. This was disappointing as we'd stayed, eaten and...
