My second visit to this Hotel. In itself that is the best recommendation I could give. Pilar and Jim were once again superb hosts. Pilar cooked a traditional Spanish dish - Superb. My wife and I both over ate once again even though we did not have lunch knowing that dinner would be good. The room brilliant - Was disappointed...

The Hotel Torrecerredo, situated in pasture just outside the bustling centre of the picturesque town of Arenas de Cabrales, up a short narrow track above the main road, commands wonderful views of the central Picos mountains and is a great location from which to explore this area. This comfortable hotel is ideal for walkers: the ensuite rooms have powerful, hot...

We stayed a week with a hiking group doing daily hikes in the Picos de Europa mountains. Jim and Pilar were the perfect hosts. Very knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions about where to go on our free day and where to eat. The food at the hotel is truly wonderful and plentiful. Buffet breakfast; picnic lunch options each day; and...

Great food, really great food indeed, all home cooked by Jim, his spanish wife Pila and their local staff. Great price and very friendly helpful staff. Ideally suited for exploring the Picos de Europa either driving or on foot. Jim lent some of the group his Landrover when the rain was heavy to explore, whilst some brave souls (read-mad) ventured...

Just returned from a fabulous 4 day stay at hotel torrecerredo. I can't recommend it enough. Excellently located for access to the picos national park and some awesome motorcycling routes. Jim and his staff made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

We stayed here during a recent exploration of the picos de europa. The room cost provides for half board, which we weren't fully aware of to begin with so ate the first night in a restaurant in Arenas, and the owner of the hotel (who is British and the chef) cooked an excellent meal for us. However, the hotel caters...

Stayed here during our superbly organised Exodus walking holiday 'Picos de Europe'. A wonderfully, homely, relaxed stay were you are very very well looked after; Pilar and Jim's food is out of this world! and together with their lovely, long standing, trusty team you will not want to leave at the end of your stay.

We spent six nights here while we explored the Picos. The hotel sits on a hillside just on the edge of Arenas (250m) with fantastic views to the mountains. Our room was clean and comfortable with a great shower! What makes this one of the best hotels I've stayed in is the staff: friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They give the...

If you are interested in walking, outdoor pursuits and good food then stay here for a week. We only had 2 nights in our tour of Northern Spain but wished we could have stayed for longer. Jim and Pilar gave us a walking route for a superb 5 hr hike from the hotel. Very very helpful and could offer and...
