We've been coming here fairly regularly for a few years now. It has always been good and now it has been taken over by new management it has improved. The new team have taken the place up a level. The main menu is similar to the old one but, in addition, their specials are really good and the ones we...

Once again we ended up at the Victoria, unable to book a time in Lanivet pub.The place was heaving when we arrived and we had to wait for our table. They we very good and as it seemed chaotic the staff handled it with a quite calm.We were given a table by the window and were called up the counter for the...

We met friends for a monthly meet and ordered food at the bar, one soup and ham & eggs no chips. Mine came after nearly thirty minutes, the soup was so thin, albeit hot with one bought thin slice of white bread. In Cornwall how could this be served £5 for flavoured hot water. My husbands came after every one...

I visited this fine establishment while on my many business trips to Cornwall, and I can thoroughly recommend the dining experience as having been to a great deal of restaurants on my travels I can easily put it in my top ten in the country, although the pub quiz on this night it didn't interfere with the service and the...

Good food, a varied menu from breakfast onward, meals are reasonably priced. Just off the A30 it has plenty of parking, the interior is roomy and the decor is nice and the staff are efficient and friendly.

We had planned to have a break for lunch on our way to west Cornwall, we had planned to stop elsewhere which we did, the welcome was nearly as cold as the Pub!!! What a contrast, we were welcomed by Chris at The Victoria Inn, a pleasant warm welcome, a warm pub with a lovely wood burner glowing away. The...

Roast is really good, other menu options nice, not the biggest of menus but good pub grub. Also do old school desserts such as spotted dick and treacle pudding. Staff friendly and efficient. Quite a reasonable size but can get quite busy.

We stayed at the Travelodge next door and had meals at The Victoria every evening. The proprietors and staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It was also a welcome change to be able to order some decent pub food knowing that you would get a good sized meal that was honest, freshly prepared and...

Had a lovely stay here as a Base to explore other areas and is ideally located. Close to A30 so found it very easy to explore with our dog :) Didn't try the pub next door so can't comment on that. Outside could do with freshening up a little but didn't bother us.
