Travelled with jet 2 which was fine however was supposed to be in the hotel one day and a lot of people needed to speak to them and they didn’t bother to turn up. Hotel is nice , upgraded to superior room which was nice and onthe 10th floor with amazing views.maids came in every day and changed towels etc.staff friendly . Pools all good including indoor which we used daily and sunbathed in the roof terrace which we had to ourselves. Breakfast was fine however same things each day .. air con in rooms also fridge and tea coffee. Nice walk to marina with plenty of bars and restaurants including dominoe pizza.taxi to Grand Plaza shopping centre cost 9 euros . Taxi to Almeria town £17 euro.. went to Roquetas de mar but waste of time hardly anything there and ended up walking back to Aguadulce (around 6km).enjoyed our time at playadulce hotel but our negatives are.. beach gritty and you sink in the sand, all the restaurants around focus on the Spanish and nearly all tapas, there’s no shops only if you walk right up the hill to the roundabouts and then they’re not anything to shout about.Nice hotel in a lovely position but definitely won’t be returning

Was a bit Nervous of what to expect with some of the reviews being a bit negative but take it from me this Hotel will not disappoint if your looking for value. Reception were very helpful on arrival and throughout our stay so first of all I would like to say thank you to the reception team for making us feel welcome. Hotel was very clean all around from reception, Corridors, Rooms, Pool area and gardens. Food was a good selection with fresh meat and fish being served every day alongside a load of other dishes on the buffet including pasta, Soups, Cheeses, Fresh bread, deserts etc.. pancakes were brilliant! Plenty of sun beds around by both pools and the slides were great for the kids. Beach was literally across the road and had some great little beach bars worth paying a visit too for a few drinks which were very cheap considering the location on the beach. There’s also loads of bars and restaurants down the marina which was a 15 minute walk from the hotel ( again definitely worth a visit). I would personally recommend going all inclusive in this hotel purely on the basis of all drinks are Branded and the food was decent. The only slight negatives we found with the hotel was we had to keep giving our key card for every drink and every meal ( usually when all inclusive you’d have a band), very limited English spoken by the staff and especially the lifeguards, however saying that we fully accepted the hotel is located outside a touristy area so it’s expected. Airport transfer is around 25-30 minute journey. Overall this hotel is 100% worth a visit and we’ll definitely be returning in the future. Get it booked you won’t be disappointed!!!!!!!

I have read a few reviews and agree with most of them. Staff are fantastic here, the entertainment team seem to work all day, 80s night was great entertainment. The room is basic but the beds are comfy, air con does work but didn’t think the room got hot anyway, showers are nice as well. The food for B and B is ok, lots of fruit, cereal, pastries etc but the hot stuff wasn’t that good, The counter were they do eggs and bacon is good but the sausage isn’t nice at all, mainly catered for the Spanish but you do get fed each day. The pool bar food is what you would expect burgers, pizza, chicken fingers, chips and ice creams, I would suggest go all inclusive as you would save so much money with kids wanting ice creams, slushes, cokes etc, one Pepsi is 2.20 so that gives you an indication on price. The pools are great, the only reason they get 4 stars here is that they sell pool inflatables at the shop in reception yet you can’t use them in the pool, where is the sense in that? Overall I think the hotel is great value and all Covid measures are in place. Well worth the £1200 I paid for a weeks BB in August. Thanks to all at senator hotels for a great experience. Requetas de mar is 20 euro each way in a taxi Or 1.35 per person each way on a bus, nice British pub there called Lilly’s bar

We have just returned home from this wonderful hotel and resort. We booked with Jet2 who were fantastic throughout and we arrived on Sat 25th as the FCO decided Spain was on one of the no go areas! Madness as in southern Spain we felt so safe and everyone was wearing a face mask and lots of safety measures were in place and adhered to...such a shame . Cristina (our Jet2 rep was incredibly helpful and gave us lots of advice, ideas & recommendations. The Hotel: Is found at the far end of Aguadulce and has 9 or 10 floors. The main entrance is on level 4 and is to the back of the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful as were all members of staff. There are so many safety measures in place around the whole hotel from compulsory face masks in all public spaces to hand sanitizer being everywhere. Someone forgot to wear their mask at breakfast one morning and they were quickly but politely reminded. The Room: We had booked a standard double b&b and on arrival were asked if we would like to upgrade to a superior at an additional €20 per night. We had emailed ahead and asked for a room with some evening sun so we said we would check out our given room first. We were in 829 and as soon as we arrived at 7pm my husband said we're staying here as the balcony had the eve sunshine we had asked for plus an amazing sea view. As others have mentioned, the standard rooms may be a little old and tired looking with dark furniture but they are a good size with 2 double beds pushed together, a large bathroom with bath and overhead shower and plenty of wardrobe and storage space. Hairdryer and toiletries were available too. We could have paid for AC but instead opted to just use the large ceiling fan in the bedroom which was lovely and cooling on an evening. The safety deposit box was a cost of 7 euros a night and a key was obtained from reception. The balcony as I mentioned was the best bit, large with 2 chairs and a table plus 2 small washing lines. The view towards Roquettes and overlooking the sea with beautiful early into late eve sunshine was the best. Cleaned daily. Amenities etc. around the Hotel: There are 2 pools on level 1 with plenty of sun loungers (well spaced apart) and cleaned regularly (they have a disinfectant card placed on them once they have been cleaned). They open from 10am and no towels are allowed to reserve the sun loungers! thank goodness...Pool towels can be rented from the reception desk and when you return the deposit is then credited back to you. You need to wear your face masks around the pool area but not on your sun longer or in the pool. There are slides for the children and a Jacuzzi (which was very warm!). There is a pool bar which we only used for buying ice creams so can not rate the food etc. There is a nice little mini golf course and you can play whenever you like; you get the clubs and balls from reception (just giving your room number). Breakfast: Is served from 8am till 10.30am in the dining room on level 3. There is hand sanitizer as you arrive and you need to self scan your room key on entry. Food was good and plentiful and much as you would expect. All hot drinks from a machine. 2 different juices and water. Different breads and a toaster. Fresh fruit. Cakes and sweets. Hams and cheeses plus tuna and a small salad selection. Hot food was sausages, eggs, potatoes, tomatoes and churros. At the far end of the dining room is a section where you can get anything egg related such as fresh omelettes. The Bar is on level 4 and is open throughout the day and night. They have entertainment each evening either outside or in and the Entertainment team were fantastic. They seem to work 20 hours a day and are always walking around and entertaining the children. As has been mentioned in previous reviews, this is a typically Spanish hotel and resort so most of the entertainment is aimed at this audience. We thoroughly enjoyed all the same. Location: As mentioned its at one end of the resort which gives you a nice base to explore. If you exit from what I see as the back of the hotel where reception is on level 4 you can head uphill to a few restaurants etc. If you exit from level 1 through the gate to the front you are straight across a quiet one way street from the promenade and beach. This gate is room card operated and is locked from 1am. Most restaurants are out and to the left on level 1 of the hotel and if you walk right to the end, you'll come to the harbour where there are lots of nice bars and restaurants. We found it fairly busy on the weekend we were there with locals and Spanish tourists but through the week it was a little quieter. Shops and Restaurants: Each to their own but supermarket wise there are a couple if you leave from the back of the hotel and head uphill to the roundabout (about 15-20 mins). One smaller one on the RB itself and one larger one just a couple of mins walk past here. Both well stocked and reasonable prices and again safety measures in place. We were only there one week and so didn't get to try too many restaurants but our recommendations would be: La Santa Tapas - left out of the front gate and just a couple of mins walk, great for lazy lunches overlooking the sea. Navio - right out of the front gate and 5 mins walk just set back from the promenade. Gorgeous paella and rice dishes for a lovely evening. La Huerta Tapas - on the top road so either out the back up to the RB and right or along the promenade and left. Stunning food, a little bit different from the norm. Any of the Chiringuitos (beach bars) along the beach such as Diego or Cubano e.g. all fab food day and night and lovely views. Remember that most places open up until 4pm and then close until around 8pm till late. Also this time of year they're all fairly busy so you may need to reserve a table. All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel and resort and would love to go back once things have settled down a little. Thanks everyone
