Hi there, this is great hotel but its miles from any where ,Its a forty minute walk to the next village , on a busy main road with no pavement. There is no promenade and after a few days you just get bored. The entertainment is mainly for children and it goes on well after

Visited 21-28 August with our 8 and 6 year olds. We're an English family and experienced no negativity whatsoever. In fact the opposite, the staff actually teaching the kids some Spanish words and going out of their way to try & understand us! Perhaps if people made a little

Very clean hotel, and the food is great! Every room has an amazing sea view, great pools, good entertainment if you can understand it. Best all inclusive I've been on. On the down side, no one speaks much English, there's not one British newspaper, or TV channel, no

We have recently returned from a fantastic week's holiday. We went with our 2 children, who are 13 and 10. We read the reviews about the remote location of the hotel and therefore hired a car for the week. Well with doing, as we got to visit lots of lovely places but also got to

It is an all around family hotel packed with kids, thus not really recommendable for couples or single travellers.

There were three dogs there over our visit. Small dogs, but dogs. Most of the time I saw them on leashes. So they are not omnipresent. Smokers on the other hand are. They smoke everywhere outside. My wife and I have coughs from what I am certain is taking in second-hand smoke. Inside is the only guaranteed escape. When I questioned reception why people can smoke poolside, I got a "it will never change" kind of response. No pun intended, but don't hold your breath it will get better. My wife tells me that the ficus benjamina plant is trouble for asthmatics. There are numerous ones outside, but not in rooms. I can't recall if there are in the lobby or dining area,

The bartending staff are limited in their ability to whip up a cocktail. If you want a cocktail made to order, I suggest having the recipe loaded to your phone in Spanish and show them. There are a few bartenders that may be able to make to order, but a couple others probably wouldn't have a clue. As noted in previous response, mojitos etc are slushie machines. Don't expect a proper freshly made version.

Is there a shop by the hotel or in the hotel for water, papers etc
There is a shop in the hotel. It is open 1000 - 1200 and again for the a couple hours in the afternoon. There is no other shop within walking distance. The shop maintains a very limited stock of conveniences. Papers are available. But as i recall, mostly Spanish. The primary customer is Spanish, so there is not a great variety. Water is available in coolers everywhere. No need to worry about that.
