Nice and clean although becoming a bit dated and in need of a refreshing paint. Comfortable with large parking, close to the big mall and if you get a room on one of the top floors you will have a great view over Stockholm!
Breakfest was good and staff nice and helpful.

We stayed in a king suite on the top floor and it was overall a very nice stay. The suite offered spectacular views from the 25th floor, it was stylish and very spacious (by Swedish standards), the bed was comfy and the property has a very good location (adjacent to a large shopping mall and near public transportation, highways, nature and Arlanda airport). So far, so good. However, it did have one major drawback - the heating/AC system was terrible. Both rooms in our suite were freezing no matter how we tried to adjust the thermostats and even with three extra radiators (provided by the hotel when we complained) it was uncomfortably and unacceptably cold. So much in fact that I would not return without bringing a couple of powerful space heaters. There was also a severe lack of outlets in the suite, so I would also bring an extension cord and a USB hub :)

Quality Friends arena Stockholm is located next to Friends arena and Westfield Mall of Scandinavia. It is a 10-minute walk from Solna railway station which will take you to the airport in 30 minutes or 7 minutes to the centre of town. The lobby on level 3 has a nice bar, and you will find the gym and the children's club on the second level. The gym is a good size with plenty of equipment. There are restaurants on the 4th and 25th floors, with the breakfast being served on the 4th floor. The rooms are a good size, albeit a little dated, and on the high floors, you get a nice panoramic view of parts of the city. A good choice for shopping and access to the arena.

I wasn’t expecting the same quality as other Nordic Choice hotels but that we would end up freezing and having to change our own dirty sheets was beyond lowering of standard.

We took the family room, and besides having really unsafe bunk beds (who ever designed them thought of teenagers or young adults not kids 6-12), we froze the whole night.

Our card was in place the whole time, and we raised the temperature but the thermostat was on a steady 19c. Even my husband who never feels cold, froze.

We stayed for 3 nights, we barely slept.

The staff tried their best, but like most hotels I suspect the heat is controlled centrally and no maintenance was working during the holiday. We spoke to other guests who has the same issues with very cold rooms.

The cleaning was sub optimal. Our family room lacked covers under the sheets and there was dirt under the sheets. There was no vacuuming done at all during our stay. It is very unpleasant as the rooms are fully carpeted.

The staff did their best to help us and we changed rooms, but as the problem was probably throughout the hotel, the freezing continued.

The breakfast was ok. However, one could barely find a place to sit and it was crowded and noisy. Most things ran out and were not replaced. The breakfast staff were nice and helpful though.

In summary: this hotel is more like a hostel for families. The breakfast feels like you are at the most hectic time of the day at IKEA.

It has been one of the worse hotel stays I have had.

Very expensive for the standard of comfort, amenities, locality, reachability through public transport and food spread. While it is listed as a 4-star hotel, it has no vegan/vegetarian friendly food choices in their buffet. Reaching this hotel from the city center or cruise ports is a pain. Stockholm city public transport and its app and the directions are more to blame, but the hotel could have done their share to help the patrons.
The toilet does not have a "health faucet". the hotel does not provide a tap for water anywhere in the whole building and when asked, we are expected to drink from the toilet. While the water may be pure, what about the taps and the nozzles? Aren't toilets supposed to be the least hygienic places? Apparently not for this hotel staff.
The room was big with a beautiful window view which was overlooking the railway station.
There is a mall close by and getting food would not be very difficult, so you don't have to be at the mercy of the hotel.

Three nights at the hotel means that someone makes the beds and changes the towels twice. This was forgotten on the first day and it was suggested that we might have opted out of cleaning, which the three of us could confirm was not the case. When we get to the room the second day, they had again "forgotten" to clean. Three nights at the hotel where they "forget" to clean the room every two days. Nothing worldly, but the few times you stay in a hotel you want to crawl into a freshly made bed and have fresh towels.

I ordered a "superior" room which was promised to have dedicated seating area, a separate working desk and the pictures advertised had ample natural light with wall-size windows. The room I was assigned (7011) had no seats, no work desk, was much smaller than advertised and the light was obstructed by huge beams and windowsills. I complained to the reception and asked to change the room, but they insisted that the room we were assigned was of the class we ordered. Eventually it got sorted out, but left a sour feeling for us. I can't recommend this place as I feel the next visitor might not be as successful in persuading the room change.

The hotel should separate those tiny closets to a separate lodging class and not sell them as "superior" rooms.

Main issues:
1) our room was NOT CLEANED after the 1st night. We noticed when we arrived at night
2) no print price menus for the fridge bar stuff (neither online). I had to call to reception, and the best they could do was to narrate to me each and every individual item via phone… non practical!

The hotel has the normal but high quality hotel standard. It’s located just by mall of Scandinavia with a huge selection of restaurants and shops. It’s about 10min walk mainly in Doors torget pendeltåg that takes you citycenter in 6min. It’s a big hotel and the drawback is that some things gets very large scale like the breakfast that gives a little bit of a school canteen feeling. But overall a very good hotel.

Just spent another night in suite 2503 on the top floor and while the suite itself did not disappoint (except when it came to HVAC and room temp, which was too cold for comfort), the Covid-19 reponse did. Since my last stay in July, the breakfast had somehow gotten significantly worse from a Covid standpoint and not all staff members wore their face masks, despite Nordic Choice policy to do so. I will note, however, that the hotel itself continues to provide excellent value, and if it just got Covid-19 measures and room temperature right, it would be a slam dunk.

By a train to Solna station. One end of the station is close to the Mall of Scandinavia and the walking distance through the shopping centre is short. There's also a bus connection from the other end of the station. The bus stop may be a bit difficult to find, though.
