In the city of Legnano, not so far to Milano, there is this beautiful hotel. The room confortable, breakfast good. Staff very kind. The hotel is nearest the wonderful Park "Parco Castello", a gorgeous and green park.
This hotel is in an urban area at walking distance from fast foods and restaurants. Building is ordinary, staff almost friendly and rooms clean, functional but small. Breakfast is fine with good coffee prepared by the staff at the bar... Italy isnt’it. In Legnano my preference goes to the UNA hotel which is more modern but globally the experience was fine.
This was a modern hotel on the outskirts of Milan. It was reasonably priced for a one night stay with free parking. The rooms were spacious & clean with good aircon. The bathroom was in need of refurbishment but sufficed. The breakfast was fine with the usual selection of meats, cheese, pastries & croissants.
The male receptionist was downright rude to us before we even opened our mouths. I spoke in Italian as much as possible (out of politeness) but the man continued to be rude. I ignored this, but when we went to our room we found we needed the wifi password was at reception. I returned and spoke to the receptionist, also asking if I'd offended him in some way because of how horrible he was being to us. He blamed his "stupido" colleague for making a mistake with our booking, however he was rude way before he found *his* mistake. On returning to the room the wifi connected to both devices for about 10 seconds then disconnected for the rest of our stay. Breakfast was okay. I'd find somewhere else to stay in future.
Positive point : only one, it was very clean Negative(s) : - Breakfeast quality was poor - Two days in a row (including the 1st of january !!!!), the cleaning staff was at work at ... 8:00 AM, knocking to doors and trying to enter the rooms. On the first day, they were chatting in the corridor. - People in the reception are almost rude... - Only one pillow per person (for a three stars, it is cheapskate!) - We arrive at the hotel with a bottle of water of our own. We went out, and when we came back the bottle was no more here. After a quick search, we found it in the minibar. At the checkout, we had to argue with the staff because they wanted us to pay this bottle, believing that we took it in the bar.
