We spent with a group of 13 friends a week (between the end of May and beginning of June 2011) at Villa Corti and we really enjoyed it. The Corti Family, who owns the place has always been very helpful both in the planning part of our stay and while we were there. The Villa is located in a very... More

A full week in the hills of Tuscany with good friends and wonderful hosts helped us fulfill a dream. We found Annagloria and Enzo to be perfect hosts. They were there if we needed them and scarce if they thought we wanted to be alone. We were with four other couples from around the US--all long time friends. We toured... More

We write as a group of nine happy visitors to Castellare to echo the praise of most of the reviewers.. Let's start with Anagloria and Enzo who are charming and filled with ideas for what to do and have connections with local artisans for those who wish to buy things that are different than the usual, cooks who honor the... We booked this villa over a year ago, for a family that inludes teenagers and also very young children. The original group was 14 people but in May this year we asked and got permission for an additional two teenagers to be included, we were told they would need to 'bunk up' - ie share rooms- and one two year... This villa costs alot... it had to be special for our father's 70th birthday celebration for all the family. It is a beautiful house with lovely gardens and a big table for alfresco eating.... shame the table is overlooked by the old chap who lives next door, watches TV with the volume up loud, and peers through the mosquito netting... If you are contemplating a stay in the Tuscan countryside, look no farther than this excellent Villa. It has all the ambience that one could hope for, but with all the modern conveniences. We traveled to Castellare de' Sernigi in March and we were blessed with beautiful weather. The villa is a dream to stay in. The furnishings are lovely, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped. We would run down to the Coop, get our food and cook up the most amazing dinners. Annagloria and Enzo are the perfect hosts, full of... More

Our family's stay in Tuscany was immeasurably enhanced by our villa stay in Tavernelle at Villa Corti. Trying to choose from the wealth of beautiful properties available proves a daunting task. Our decision was driven by the photos which gave us the impression of a lovely, spacious antique home that somehow still seemed cozy and welcoming. The photos gave an... More
