Hotel is located close to the driveway of the motorway so ideal as a stopover for a round trip in Italy. Right next to the hotel there is a large parking which I think is free. At the reception it was recommended to park our car in the underground pay parking 8 euro because it would be safer. No idea if this is a commercial talk or if it is really necessary in this neighborhood. We booked this hotel last-minute for the attractive price of 67 euros per room including breakfast. We got a reduction because we are starhotels members. Rooms are certainly spacious for this region and have all the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel. However, there are no slippers or bathrobes like at the Starhotel in Milan. Well isolated - no noise from outside or from nearby rooms. Excellent mattress & pillows. Free WiFi works well. Sufficiently fast to Netflix. Only 1 socket on 1 side of bed. There’s a Socket at the desk but is less obvious to charge your mobile phone in bed. Fitness has plenty of equipment. Because of COVID 19 I did not use them. It was not clear to me what measures the hotel had been taken. Access to fitness was free for everyone without any control. In other hotels you have to book your time slot in advance so that everything is cleaned before and after your turn. Nice swimming pool with clear water. Again unfortunately I didn't use it. I wanted to but when I visited it, it was way too crowded. The sun loungers were too close together - no social distancing at all. Reception: friendly and professional lady who spoke to us with a smile. Breakfast: for Italian standards certainly an extensive breakfast with enough Covid 19 measures. Individual packages fruit / cereals, staff at breakfast buffet... This hotel is highly recommended if you are making a stopover in the Milan region. Unbeatable rates - you get value for your money. I would rate them 5 stars if they would take more Covid 19 measures at their leisure facilities.…
Not sure what all the bad reviews are about we booked 2 days before arriving after a change in our accommodation plans. arrived at midday and as our Room was ready we checked in early. We booked a deluxe room and it was lovely super king size bed with large bathroom. We had bath robes and slippers tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast absolutely fantastic plenty of choice hot food breads pastries fruit yoghurts cereal cold meats and cheese tea coffee fruit juice different milks including soya and gluten free bread. Toiletries in rh eroom and plenty of towels. Swimming pool open 6.30am - 23.00 you need a swimming hat (that's normal for Italy) and flip flops they sell both at reception. Suna / steam room open 5pm-9pm apparently but we went up before and it was all open. Also small but modern gym. Staff all friendly and efficient. Everywhere Spotlessly clean and all for a fantastic price. I write this whole we are enjoying our stay in room 722. Celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. …
Arrived at hotel and the receptionist checked us in early. Staff very polite. Not sure why people are moaning about the rooms. Ours was very clean and modern. Air con was fantastic. The breakfast was great. Cerial, Yogurts, Fruit, Cold Meats and Cheeses, Pastries, Bread, Rolls Bacon and Eggs and Sausage. Went swimming every day, open 6.30am till 11.00pm. Couldn't fault the cleanliness. Ideally situated, 5 minutes walk from Station and 10 minutes walk from City Centre. Bars and Restaurants close by.
Am very much surprised about reviewes on this hotel. My experience completely diff6. I'm sure was "grand" when built, but sadly no longer so. 1. Furniture worn out, especially the rug on the floor seems same old decades old. And we had suite which is supposed to be great room. 2. A lot of conditions not stated while reserving, nor on web site: - saunas only open from 5-9pm, so forget that during the day. Not too obviously noted on website. - breakfast in room, besides room service extra cost which is fine and expected, they wanted to charge additional 8eur for each of certain things, e.g. ham, bacon, that they serve at breakfast amongst everything else for free in restaurant. Being with baby would be much more convenient to have breakfast in room but ended up in restaurant. - free parking: only 10 placed so have to be very lucky to get one 3. When fairly full hotel, expect breakfast waiting line be some 15-20min long 4. Parking in front of hotel is city, public parking, and is not obvious it is not hotel parking, and bell boy said nothing. Luckily no transit guys were around checking cars 5. At the end, manager was just acting like *yeah whatever", "nothing I can do", looking for excuses and turning it all as if it's my fault, when giving some suggestions for improvement about what happened. 6. And worst, they booked my credit card with authorizations, fine, but at the end they also charged me ful amount without clearing authorisations, so I ended up with not being able to use my credit card as was topped to limit because of their authorisations and charge. Staff was ok, mostly in the end helped, but not always seem keen on doing it. Breakfast had good choice of food, good variety, suite room was big, specious so at least that. there's definitely better hotels around for similar price. …
Perfect city hotel and great location. Rooms are large and airy with modern and clean decoration and best standard of linen and pillows. Perfect hairdryer which actually dries hair instead of old fashioned types found in hotels. Breakfast plenty to choose from and good service. Parking exists at an extra cost.
