First the good. Patagonia is extraordinary. Ecocamp captures this well with wonderful guides (we had the "two Diegos" who were knowledgable, friendly and genuinely caring). This is a must do experience and we recommend Ecocamp. Then a surprise. I didn't realise how long it takes to get there. Our travel day was 12 hours from Santiago airport to the camp...

When you are visiting Patagonia don't forget to stay in Ecocamp. I would suggest to stay in a suite dome, more expensive but rewarding because you will have your own bathroom (and go out at night to go to the bathroom when you stay in one of the other domes is very cold). The staff is great, all the outdoor...

If you are looking for something a little different in the Torres del Paine National Park this is a great choice. I stayed in a Suite Dome which came with an ensuite bathroom. The room had everything that I needed and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The views from the camp are marvellous. As the name suggests the...

EcoCamp employs tourism graduates from nearby universities as well as locals of Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales. That means each employee knows the area, and most have both an understanding...
