I was delighted to stay 3 nights/4 days at this beauty. The hotel is cozy, comfortable, sweet, excellent food, magnificent view of Torres del Paine... I enjoyed so much the tailor made excursions offered by the guides, such a personalized service "Thank you so much"! The General Manager was always around greeting and serving people. The staff knew about our...

Dear Caroline, Thank you very much for your review on your explora Patagonia experience. What pleased me most about your review, was your delight regarding our explorations. They are the most important aspect of our experience, and we pay special attention to them. I'm glad you enjoyed them. I would like to take this opportunity to make you aware of...

I stayed 5 nights at Explora Patagonia during the winter month of August 2014. As this was the low season, the hotel was not crowded and the attention I received was very personalized. The entire crew, starting with the driver who picked me up at the hotel in Punta Arenas, to the hotel staff -- including housekeeping, restaurant servers, and...

Three friends and I planned this trip for over a year and it took us 3 days to get there but it was so worth it! I'd like to start by acknowledging the staff as exceptional. Extremely attentive and seemly genuine in their interest to create your overall experience. The room was beautiful in it's simplicity and the views are...

Dear Traveler, Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review on your explora Patagonia experience. I cannot believe you managed to stay on a diet whilst facing those desserts night after night. You must certainly return and indulge. It's true what you say: a long way away, but well-worth it. I will make sure to pass...

I was on business trip in Viña del Mar, and then went to explora Patagonia for four nights. I had injured my foot and was very worried that I won't be able to enjoy the park. Luckily, I was wrong. Explora Patagonia is such a wonderful place, where each traveller receives personal attention. All my trips were organized so that...

Is difficult to rate it Very Good and not excellent but I'm trying to be the most objective possible. Rooms are not of the size you could expect for a hotel of this category, but all the rest is the best for this concept. The location cannot be better is just breathless. Attention is excellent from all the staff. Food...

Reading reviews and articles cannot prepare you for the stunning beauty of Torres del Paine. We visited in late autumn when it was very quiet. The staff were all so friendly and the guides were so knowledgeable. The lodge is all inclusive, has to be really as it is all alone in the park. That doesn't mean they skimp on...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our lodge is located right in the heart of the extraordinary Torres del Paine National Park in southern Patagonia. The diverse and untouched landscapes of this area led UNESCO to declare it a biosphere reserve. Our Patagonia hotel lodge opened in 1993 on the banks of the Salto Chico waterfall. It affords an excellent view of the unique Paine Massif and two of the three impressive torres, or towers, which give the park its name. The lodge has 49 rooms and a variety of inviting spaces. Situated on a 3-hectare (7.4-Acre) site, the design borrows certain organic forms from the landscape itself, adapting to it with simple elegance. It was designed to create a dialogue with its environment, putting human beings in touch with the sublimity of their surroundings. For travellers, the lodge provides the welcome surprise of comfort in a remote area. Nonetheless, you are not isolated from nature, but rather placed "within" it. ... more   less
