S50°58.389' W72°52.514' the newly added ablution block refugio Torre Norte offers nice warm showers after a day trip hiking Torres del Paine. Do not confuse refugio Torres Central with Torres Norte. The dorm bed in the unisex room slept well in December 2014. Do not forget earplugs for noisy sleepers and leave your smelly shoes outside in the hallway. This...

I spent two nights at this refugio while doing the W trekk and found it to be of a decent standard. Rooms were clean, food was not too bad, probably overall too expensive. The highlight is the coffee in the bar, the best you will get in the area. Try the espressos and capuccinos prepared with much care by the...

You wouldn't choose to stay here and especially not at $126 per night full board. Six to a room ( and some were mixed makes that more expensive than the top London hotels, and you had to rent a towel for $2 a night. The beds were comfortable and a nice duvet on the bed. The communal showers were clean....

We stayed in Torres Norte for 2 days as we were completing the 'W' track. There's nothing else around to do so we hung out at the bar for coffee and tea quite a bit. Considering that food, milk and coffee were scarce over there, coffee served at the bar was the best throughout the whole trip in TDP. We...

The room is clean, you have to share the room with 4 to 6 people max. Showers and toilets are kept very clean.Sometimes there is no hot water in the shower. There is no heating in the rooms and no electricity points in the rooms. The food and drinks are very expensive because they know very well you have no...

There is no (or very little) hot water. No electricity points except of the reception place. The rooms are cold with no heating. At night time the wind blowing in all over. The prices are HIGHLY expensive and doesn't reflects the quality what so ever. The service are very unwelcoming. At the time we arrived they demand an extra 15...

we had one night here in the early season (mid Oct 2014). they were still organizing, as was everybody else in the region. this is similar to a hostel, so know that going in. rooms were clean and bed was decent. thought the food in the lodge was pretty good. we also had box lunches as part of our package....

When you plan to to visit the national park Torres del Paine, be sure to save up some money. There's only 1 bus per day from Puerto Natales to the park and back. It arrives at 10 a.m. and goes back at 2 p.m. Which means it's impossible to do a trekking of 7 hours (e.g. to the Torres) and...

The impression from this lodge was mixed. We visited for a night at The very beginning of the season so some fine tuning of all services were expected. But we did not expect such a poor response from the staff when some lack of water and failed heaters happened after paying The full Price. When complaining to the manager, very...
