Reasonably expensive but a good room for families with a balcony and view out to Adams peak. Food was OK and plentiful, everything was very clean and the staff were welcoming. About a 10 min walk to the Adams peak sign in Dalhousie , just go up the road and cross the bridge and head right

Dalhousie is not known for the luxurious hotels- having said that I will recommend this basic but lovely, family run, nice hotel. We stayed here for two nights- and knowing that Adam's Peak is the reason for being here, we were a little worried about what to do here. But we had a very pleasant stay in a spacious and...

Slightly chilled was one of our favorite places to stay in Sri Lanka. The room was clean and comfortable, the food delicious and plentiful and the hospitality warm and welcoming. We used this hotel as a base for or trip to Adams Peak and it worked perfectly for us. On return from our hike we were dished up a generous...

Ideally located for climbing Adams peak. We stayed here two nights: Confortable, clean room with view of valley. Helpful freiendly staff who speak excellent English. Excellent continental breakfast and they do an awesome Sri Lankan evening buffet for 700RS; just what you need the night before a climb! Easily the best accomodation in the area, would recommend.

We stayed in a 4 person room with 2 double beds. The room itself was lovely, with a corner balcony with amazing scenic views with Adams peak visible if not too cloudy. It is a 5 minute walk from the start of the Adams peak trail. Very friendly staff who can't seem to do enough for you. But the highlight...

Slightly Chilled Guesthouse is one of a few places available to stay near the entry point to start the quest to climb Adam’s Peak. On first glance it sits on the side of a hill and works with the reception and eating area on the top floor, enclosed in glass so that the the iconic mountain can be seen in...

I'd recommend Slightly Chilled for the Adam's Peak trek, the price includes dinner on arrival and breakfast after the climb. We thought the food was good for both meals. You can also buy torches for the climb here which was handy and they will let you borrow ponchos if it's raining. Staff were really friendly. There's free wifi in the...

The rooms are clean, spacious and really beautiful. The view from the balcony is amazing. The owner borrowed us torches for free, he is very helpful and friendly as well as the rest of his staff. The food is amazing, have a look at their breakfast on the photo.

Right next to Adams Peak, so perfect place to stay if getting up at 2am for journey as 10min walk from start. The staff were great and very helpful. The buffet dinner (inc in price) was massive...good to get the energy going before walk. Breakfast prepared post journey. Largest tea pot ever witnessed. Little sparrows living in the dining hall...which...
