I booked by email for a queen room on Saturday night in early June stay at about $115, free cancellation until 3pm prior to the day of arrival. Wifi is free and check out time is 11am. The motel has a choice of bedrooms with...More
We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. It's a perfect landing point for all things in the area. We spend the day in the park hiking and swimming, then come back to a clean, comfortable, cottage-ish room to relax and clean up....More
Good location, short walk to things including the Bruce Peninsula National Park visitors center. We would have given this motel 5 stars however there was a biker group that also stayed there and were loud long after "quiet" time. The room was large, all done...More
I stayed at Blue Bay Motel on July 15th-17th, 2016. We checked in early without even asking and the room was available right away. For a "motel", I didn't expect much but as soon as my boyfriend and I walked in we really enjoyed the...More

With limited time, you will just get a taste that leaves you with a desire to return and explore more of the Bruce Peninsula. The Blue Bay Motel is right downtown where you want it to be for a walking tour of the shops and restaurants. If you love a good hike, Cyprus Lake Provincial Park and the grotto (40 minute walk one way) is beautiful and equal to Mediterranean waters in colour. You will want to be there no later than 8 am due to popularity and car lineups daily. Good hiking shoes and a packed lunch is recommended. If hiking isn't your thing, then you can always book a tour on the glass bottom boat tours (day or sunset tours). Don't miss out on Tobermory's famous Sweet Shop to indulge your sweet tooth or return home with gifts for others. If you visit Circle Arts gallery, ensure you go upstairs also to see all the art work on display. Enjoy.
