It is an old house turned into a hotel, and you do notice it: run down carpets, heaters that don't work (and you have to wait until 1am to have a warm room in the very cold winter in The Hague) and windows that don't close properly. On the other hand, the staff was helpful, informative and polite, and the...

I had a bad experience in this hotel. I was playing hockey in the near by Klein Switzerland Hockey Club. As breakfast was quite expensive (10 euro...) l decided not to have breakfast. I asked if the room has a refrigerator. Received the answer "With the money you pay, you want a refrigerator in your room?". That was said by...

This is not a Hotel. It is more a downmarket student lodging house.Website discription and photographs had no relation to the actual place. No daily maid service. beds not made and room cleaned everyday. Would not recommend .

We spent one night in this hotel. Good thing we hadn't read any reviews or we would have moved on. I don't know if the structure has been renovated or is it just that the other guests have overly exaggerated their negative reviews. The hotel isn't new but our room was very cosy and had a lovely atmosphere with various...

We got a shock when we arrived. From the outside, it looked like a dilapidated house. Upon entry, we saw dirty carpets, dust everywhere. We were told the hotel was undergoing renovation. Our bedroom was clean and bright, decorated in the romantic style, with butterfly wall stickers and high windows. The bathroom was a complete mess. A bin that was...

The disappointment began as we rounded the corner and saw the building. It may have looked like its photos once, but its nothing like that now. This hotel is tired and run down and in serious need of an overhaul. Carpets were filthy, paint coming of the walls and ceiling, furniture very old and basic, bathroom was damp. This is...

This hotel has great potential if only someone were prepared to spend money on renovation. On the plus side, it has a great location, close to the beach, yet away from the noise on the beach front. The people who run it are helpful and the breakfast is generous. However, it is shabby, with worn carpets, burnt out lightbulbs, tatty...

We stayed here for a couple of nights and it was dreadful. The hotel needs total updating, the rooms are very badly furnished and carpets worn out and stained. We found our bedsheets were ripped and one of them had blood on it. I complained and we were moved to another room at the back of the hotel- only slightly...
