Cozy, small hotel with nice Saame (Lapland) style decoration for creating local atmosphere. Friendly staff. The cherry on the cake was quite abundant breakfast with lots of choices and thoughtful setting. We enjoyed this a lot on our way to Nordkapp!

We stayed two nights at this hotel and enjoyed it very much. WiFi worked well. The view from our room was of an evergreen forest. The bedside tables and lamps facilitated night time reading. Room darkening drapes were good to exclude daylight when needed. The tile floor in the bathroom was heated and everything there worked well. The staff members... More

Our trip to Lapland was great, couldn't ask for better weather. We had a great stay at karasjok scandic! We did stay at economy room and it was perfect for a backpacker. Clean and well holded bathrooms. Breakfast was the best I've eaten! Very typical Skadinavian breakfast. Highly recommended!

The Scandic hotel in Karasjok is located close to the Sapmi museum. The wooden hotel is really nice. The room was clean, very well-equipped with a view on the reindeers enclosure. The staff was very welcoming. The best welcome we had during all our trip in Norway. The breakfast buffet was very nice, with a broad choice of fish, meat... More

This is the only hotel of decent international standard in Karasjok, with good sized rooms that seem quite recently renovated. We stayed in the junior suite which had a 55" tv as well as a comfortable 180cm double bed. Stay away from the "economy" rooms though, which while cheap, looks rather miserable. The hotel restaurant serves local dishes in addition... More

Very clean and large rooms with everything you really need. Service is polite, but I would have loved I the receptionist had explained the details about restaurant and breakfast without asking her first. Splendid restaurant is located in the garden - do dine there! A very nice stay indeed.

This is a hotel with new rooms, updated bathrooms and nice furniture. The rooms has reindeer themes and connections to the local culture. The negative part with the room was the cleaning of the bathroom, the walls of the shower had lots of hairs from the last guest on them, it was so much that I had to hose down... More

Very pleasant hotel with excellent breakfast including local specialities. Sami restaurant was an interesting experience but a bit expensive and would not want to eat there more than once per stay. Only downside was issue over Scandic member discount on food which was not resolved during our stay.
