Fantastic food, went with parents and my boyfriend. I am a coeliac so have to stick to gluten free and my boyfriend is vegan so obviously a hard pair to cater for! The first restaurant where we have both been spoilt for choice! Amazing food, amazing staff, amazing atmosphere! Lovely log fire (without the Smokey smell) very cosy with interesting and imaginative food, topped off with super friendly service. Will certainly be coming back! Definitely a must visit!!!

Highly recommended for an excellent lunch for a young family with food of a very high quality and warm, friendly service. All three courses were of excellent quality, very elegantly presented and full of flavour. Beef blade was superb.

We cannot recommend this Inn highly enough. Accommodation very comfortable. Owners and their team very welcoming. And the food was superb. Great base for exploring the area. We felt safe at all times due to this horrid virus.

We have stayed at the White Horse more times than we can remember. We re-book at the end of each stay as it gives us something to look forward to. Not only that - if we didn’t book we would probably find they were full - it’s essential to book well ahead. We normally stay 3 or 4 days. We spend our time exploring the beautiful unspoilt Suffolk Coast and it’s always such a delight to return to what feels like our second home at the White Horse. Neil and Gill have made a uniquely welcoming and comfortable place for their guests. Their insistence on quality is evident everywhere you look. The food is superb and beautifully presented. Fresh local produce is used- much of it home-grown- and all the bread preserves and ice cream are made on the premises. The decor is the perfect blend of tasteful and comfortable. The rooms are immaculate with extremely comfortable beds. The location is very quiet and beautiful. Neil and Gill are passionate about giving their guests the best experience. They have also been typically careful about making the White Horse 100% Covid safe. Any complaints or suggestions for improvement? In a word none! Already looking forward to our next visit.
