came here to escape noise of a fiesta. Friendly place room was good and clean, had a balcony with a view of the village the staff friendly and eficient the parking is just out side the hotel wi-fi ok a bit intermitant the down was as a previos post it is noisy late evenimg
Highly recommend staying here for value of money, cleanliness and location. The staff here are really really nice and so accommodating. The restaurant serves exceptional food catering traditional and genuine vegetarian food which can be a challenge in rural Spain. Even if not staying here it is a must place to eat with great local authentic atmosphere infused with non native locals and tourists. Our waitress provided excellent hospitality and had the pleasure of dining there twice and being treated so well. All the staff were so nice and friendly. The hotel itself were so accommodating, the fact that we arrived so early on our second visit @11:20 am they let us check in. This made such a difference as we had just accented the mountains and in need of shower and rest. We were delighted with our stay and I would return again if only for the delicious cod dish!!! Thanks for a great stay!!!…
The hotel is in an excellent location just a few hundred metres 'above' Orgiva and an easy walk into town. There is good access to high Sierra Nevada. Our room was a reasonable size - the hotel's one junior suite. Staff excellent, particularly Robert the waiter! Everything very clean. Reasonable free parking. Breakfast good, some lovely jamon! Lunch excellent. Good value for money.
All night the staff bang and whistle general loud noise and lack of care. The time they finally shut up to sleep its about midnight. If your on the first floor you can hear everything, not the place to be if you want a quiet early night, also ordered croquettes from here, came to me frozen in middle.
Was a bit hard to find, had to follow road A-348 and look for the km signs. We got a small room with only one chair. However good beds, light and air conditioning. We heard noise from the hotel elevator and from the fans outside. Breakfast was very poor, only coffee/tea and toast.
I visited here on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised, the room was a decent size very clean and tidy the same with the bathroom the room also has it's own little balcony which gets the sun all day, there is a bar/restaurant attached to this small hotel which serves nice food breakfast was especially nice also evening meal was good lots of choice and not to expensive
I can tell you the hotel is cheap, has a nice location and the rooms are big. That however is of no importance when you wake up and notice you are covered in ants. I could not show this to anyone at reception as the only staff around was the bar man who obviously wanted to be somewhere else. I could also not check out because of missing receptionists so they needed to call me to get my payment disturbing me on my trip. This despite them having my credit card on file. Unprofessionally run hotel that should close.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Good quality menu with very reasonable prices. Good location for varied walking. Bar / restaurant facilities available throughout the day. Very good value .
Stayed for five days, good service excellent food and huge portions, friendly and conscientious staff. Good Spanish breakfast, fresh orange juice and toasties. Good clean rooms, clean bathroom and a balcony overlooking the countryside. Ate once in the restaurant which had a good traditional menu. Cooked to order and arrived as ordered - the rare steak was rare. If you order a leg of lamb that is what you will get.
Convenient location just out of Orgiva on the roundabout for Lanjaron and the Alpujarras. Easy parking outside. Friendly staff and a clean hotel. One drawback, no chef to cook breakfast when its offseason. Tho I am told he is there from lunch onwards. Beware of the sliding door to the balcony. If you shut it too tight you may get locked out and stuck on the balcony. Personal experience. My second visit. There will be a third.
