Very good accommodation in Archidona. Great location - right in the centre of Andalucía, near the motorway with ample parking. Nice air-conditioned bedrooms with good wifi. Very good bar/ restaurant with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside, a lovely place to watch the sunset. I recommend!

The room was comfortable and clean. The shower was broken . The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. It was a very basic room but if you are looking for cheap accommodation and friendly staff, excellent food then Escua is the place to stay. Within walking distance of Archidona.

Nice double room with a large balcony.Nice bar and restaurant, good home cooked food, mainly local dishes, lamb etc, always busy with locals etc. I stayed here for 5 nights whilst waiting to move into my house. Breakfast was basic but good with freshly made coffee and orange juice. Good value for money all round. Although on the bend of a main road going...

Stayed at the Escua for three nights in October 14. Booked a superior room through booking.com (better price available direct from hotel) which turned out to be a very large double with balcony, sitting area and generous bathroom. The welcome from the owners was friendly and helpful and we felt really looked after during our stay. There was secure storage...

We chose this village and hotel for a one night stopover between Ubeda and Jerez and were very pleasantly surprised by both. The hotel provided a comfortable bed, a good bathroom and more than adequate breakfast (the three criteria by which we judge accommodation) and the family were friendly. The village was lovely, with very few, if any, tourists. A...

To be fair we only stayed here one night and it was a stop over on the way to Almeria from Malaga. The room although clean was dark, the low wattage bulb and dark shade didn't help and the bed was not comfortable. When we arrived the young girl on reception was friendly and showed us to our rooms. We...

This is a great little hotel/B&B and restaurant just off the A92 motorway in the heart of Andalucia. We stayed there several times on our exploring holidays in good size clean rooms with a/c and underfloor heating in the winter, all run by a delightful Spanish family who really take you into their hearts. Stay twice and you will remain...

We made this our base when exploring Andalucias cities and have stayed a many occasions since. It is run by a warm, friendly Spanish family and has its own bar and restaurant which are mainly filled with locals and serve up typical andalucian fare. The rooms are serviceable and clean and are good value. It is located at the base...
