My family and I have been going to Crossways every summer for over 25 years and have loved it. David and Clive have always been brilliant hosts. Comfortable rooms and really great breakfast. Strongly recommended. Valerie

We spent 6 nights at this beautiful cottage in Wilmington which is owned by the Crossways Hotel. When we booked we hadn't realised it was so near the A27 until we looked at the map later. Since we live in the depths of the country we were a little concerned. However the cottage was so beautiful and peaceful with such... More

A two-night stay at Crossways was our anniversary treat and we could not have chosen better. We had a nice room with artistic but restful decor. You can hear the road but we didn't find it disturbing. The dinner was exceptional, classic dishes perfectly cooked and presented; one of the best meals I have ever eaten. Breakfast of one's choice... More

David and Clive always make us very welcome and we feel very much at home here. Our room has everything that we need (including a mini fridge with fresh milk for tea and coffee). Dinner was excellent and somewhat better than that provided in the Middle and Upper Wallop restaurant! Another very comfortable stay and we are looking forward to... More

Set in beautiful gardens this cottage was homely but decorated to a high standard; well equipped. Two good sized bedrooms with ensuites. We had drinks at Crossways hotel and took our breakfast there. Staff were all very professional and friendly. Very convenient for Gyndebourne.

We used the hotel for bed and breakfast. Despite the close proximity to the A27, we had an excellent night's sleep. The breakfast menu was varied and our choices were delicious with very efficient service.

On a recent return to Crossways Hotel for a 10-day stay whilst attending the nearby Charleston Literary Festival, I found this phenomenal place to be even better than ever, not having thought that would be possible. Nothing is ever any trouble for wonderful owners, David and Clive, who make every visit a happy, joyful experience. David is a superb cook... More

From the minute you step into Crossways Hotel you are greeted by the owners and made to feel welcome straight away. I arrived in the evening and the smell of the food was wonderful. Unfortunately I didn't eat here as it was fully booked. Tip here, book the restaurant when you make your room booking. I booked the single room... More
