The pub is on a busy road and the car park is about 100 yds away, but it didn't spoil our visit. Great atmosphere - wonderful characters in the Bar - food very good - very friendly owner and staff. Altogether an enjoyable stay and we would recommend it although the accommodation is a little tired.

Went for lunch today to celebrate my friend's birthday with four other ladies. An extensive menu made it difficult to choose but although I fancied the scallops I went for the porcus sausage and mash, two others had the venison. All our meals were top quality and the gravy needed a spoon! Awesome. I could have eaten everything on the...

Yet another visit and same very pleasant experience. Great food and menu, good prices and a welcoming bar. Tucked away and quite easy to miss, so keep a watchful eye and call in. Some interesting views of the hills facing the pub especially when there has been some heavy rainfall. A really nice part of the country.

We called in on the way home from Haworth on a Sunday teatime. We hadn't booked but they set us up a table in the bar as they were very busy. We ordered château brien which was absolutely delicious, served with proper chips and onion rings to die for!! The land lady is lovely and we will definitely return soon...

I stayed here for one night on business whilst visiting one of my suppliers. I found the B&B to be very comfortable and the food was amazing for breakfast and also for dinner the night before. Massive sized portions, so extremely good value for money. If I need to stay over in this area again, I will definitely be staying...

We had lunch there on Sunday and yet again it never failed to please us all. I had potted Cajun shrimps to start - excellent and I had ham and leek suet pudding!. They took a suet pudding to gastronomic standards. It was fabulous. My companions had the polenta starter and another vegetarian suet pudding which was equally fantastic. Another...
