Seriously the best B&B we have ever stayed at - Jill and Jonathan have thought of everything for the comfort of their guests. The guest lounge with unlimited tea, coffee and drinks is beautiful, and their hospitality is unparalleled.

Again we stayed here for the fourth time and the standards are consistently excellent. The pool was a haven in the heat of the day, with a quiet garden to relax in, there are great walks by the river and canal five minutes away and the river is good to swim in. We had two outstanding meals cooked by Jonathan... More

We had a wonderful stay with Jill and Jonathan. Their family room (actually to adjoining rooms) is spacious, beds are large and comfortable. The common area as the pool are perfect for spending a lazy day with the kids. Breakfast was very good, hosts are welcoming ... Location in the small town is good, a few restaurants in the neighbourhood... More

We're glad you liked the family room/suite and that it worked well for you. We find that it is a very popular room during the summer. We do enjoy having families staying, exploring the area, splashing in the pool and dipping into the toy box! We hope that we will see you the next time that you come this way. More

Having stayed at a wide variety of Chambres d'Hotes in France our experience has generally been good, but L'Olivier is genuinely outstanding. It is run by a well-travelled English couple, Jill and Jonathan, who bring their own enthusiasm for the area and a commitment to providing the experience that they would seek for themselves. As a result their beautiful old... More

Due to some serious issues with Le Boat ( a canal cruising company) we abandoned ship and were put up at this lovely B&B...what an oasis of elegant comfort! The owners have made their pretty home into a unique B&B with every creature comfort: Beautifully decorated rooms with spacious well-equipped bathrooms and luxury linens;comfortable common room; nice breakfast and delightful... It was lovely to meet you all for your unexpected stay. I'm sorry that the noise from the road disturbed you. It is particularly bad during the grape harvest. If you ever pass this way again, we hope you'll visit us again and stay in one of the rooms away from the road. You will always be welcome (especially by... More

We are pleased to hear that the car got you home safe and sound. And by helping you get it fixed, we have discovered another local garage that we can use ourselves when necessary. We hope you will come back again and enjoy the area without having to worry about mechanical problems. More

Jonathon and Jill made us so welcome at their lovely B and B. We stayed two nights, and our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Our breakfasts were satisfying and the facilities excellent. The Blue room is spacious and perfectly equipped, and the bathroom spacious, everywhere is beautifully clean. L'Olivier is a lovely place; it was a shame only to enjoy it for one night. It was beautifully done up, comfortable, with all sorts of nice touches and absolutely amazingly clean.
