We stayed 2 nights at the Resort. This place is equipped with everything you need. Clean and very comfortable. We had a courtyard of a reasonable size with a BBQ - very handy. The Lady at the reception was also very accommodating. All in all I can strongly recommend this place.

This is a lovely hotel with a pool and spa. Owner is lovely. The car parking is difficult. The rooms are tidy, clean, a little on the small side. You are around 200metres walk from the beach through the campground. No view, and no community feel to it, it def feels like a hotel. Great for a night or two....

Thank you for your review. Yes with the cars getting bigger and only 1 park per unit it is a little tight, but we do seem to manage with every ones cooperation. The problem arises only for 4 weeks of the year in peak season. It is in the plan to re-brand the motel, as yes it is no longer...

This basic motel was everything we needed. A three minute walk to a gorgeous beach (in high season we were one of a handful of families on it. Joggers---it's long and perfect for a morning run), next door to a small grocer, and across the street from a cafe with Monteiths on tap. Our one bedroom unit was very clean...

Friendly staff, the lady at the front desk wait for my late arrival (late for NZ standards...) and book a restaurant for me. I was on a business trip but Waipu it's a typical holiday destination, then consider that the location is fine, just close to a beautiful beach with mini-market and nice restaurant at walking distance. The room it's...

Don't let the name of this place fool you; it isn't a resort, just a small, cramped motel with limited parking and an unheated swimming pool that is wedged between two holiday parks. The studios are very small and not particularly well equipped and the mattress on our bed was extremely soft and uncomfortable. You also have to let the...

Thank you for you review and apologise it was just not the place for you to stay. We do agree it is no longer a resort without the Restaurant attached, but would have been in its heyday, and will be re-branded in the next couple of years. One of the long list of jobs to modernise the complex along with...

Another motel owner kindly checked for a vaccacy at this place for us and we are so glad they did have a room for us. It was lovely, spacious, comfortable and quiet, with a kitchenette and very clean and well kept.It is hidden away from...

Dianna was literally so accommodating! Our son was suffering from the flu so she kindly upgraded us to a 2 bedroomed apartment . It was immaculate and had so many extra features which made a big difference to our stay. There was a free 1hr of wi fi, electric blanket and a really good range and quality of kitchenware. Loved...

I travel for work and have always purposely travelled 30 minutes out of my way to stay here instead of Whangarei. Nestled on the beach, Waipu Cove Resort has a balcony for each room along side beautifully clean and lovely decorated rooms. The management team are lovely accommodating people who are always there with any questions/help you may need along...

Stayed here 1 night, would have been nice to stay longer because it was so nice! Swimming pool, spa pool, beach a few minutes walk away. Clean, tidy well appointed unit with a fully equipped kitchen. The beds in the main area kept rolling away because they were on casters, that was a bit of a pain! Other than that...
