Just spent a couple of nights here , it was fabulous. The grounds surrounding the hotel are so peaceful you can't fail to relax here. The menu in the restaurant is a little short on choice but the food is of really good quality. The rooms are comfortable, four poster bed was a surprise and comfortable. The staff are very...

The hotel worked well for a single night stay. The staff were very welcoming, particularly those within the restaurant. Food also of a high standard. The bedroom was adequate and the parking free. Good internet. Nearby is the five rise set of locks, hence the name, and they are well worth a visit. The canal also provides a good route...

We dined here several years ago when in the area and haven't been back since. It felt like we'd never left it was still very similar decor etc, I'm not sure if it wasn't the same which I guess made it feel all the more familiar! The food was good, well presented and the staff willing to spend time to...

On telephoning to book I just knew we'd love it here! Friendly gent answered and was really down to earth nice. On arrival we were really pleased with the whole of the hotel and the welcome. The location is great. The breakfast was very tasty. Service at breakfast was informal and efficient. Yes the hotel is a bit dated but...

This is a tired hotel. Once furnished with some taste the hotel (more like a guest house to be fair) now has worn carpets and bodged room repairs. Upon arrival greeted by the the owner "Room 3, up the stairs and turn left." If asked I would have said that we could manage our own luggage, even though I was...

Stayed for one night at short notice and will be back when in area. Good parking, nice clean room and bathroom, decent TV. Breakfast was decent too. A "typical" B&B. Nothing exceptional, nothing to worry about, just decent enough as a bed and room.

We needed somewhere to stay in Bingley as we were going to a concert at the Arts Centre. We chose this hotel as it is number one on Trip Advisor. It has a small private car park, which is convenient. It is well situated, a short walk from the town centre and the five rise locks - we walked along...

We had a lovely night at the Five Rise Locks. It's a handsome Victorian building with a good restaurant and bar looking over the Aire Valley. Our bedroom with the 4 poster was excellent and the welcome was first class. We were really made to feel at home.

When visiting the area to see friends we stopped here at the Five Rise Locks hotel and what a gem it is. Room was very good with plenty of space to move about in and a generous size bathroom both were very clean and tidy and with all the usual appliances ( kettle, hairdryer etc..). Bed was really comfy and...
