One of the best areas in the town, most probably located at the outer Suburbs of the area. It was one of the most beautiful areas with a chain of shops and nice hotels. The food was delicious and healthy. Overall a nice place to eat.

After a long drive from Manipur we landed at this cafe just by the main road, on way to Kohima. It was a pleasant surprise. Not only was it aesthetically pleasing, it was a refreshingly calm and soothing place for that much needed refreshment. There is an open seating area as also a cosy arrangement inside. Food needs to be freshly ordered and its well worth the wait......

Stopped over at their restaurent for a dinner post the closing ceremony of Hornbill Festival. It was December and the place was nicely decked up for Christmas with carols playing on the sound system. Bonfires outside and a crackling fire place inside. We were rather late but the great people and hosts that they are, they made us totally comfortable. Seeing our young one fast asleep, they allowed us to have our food nest to the fireplace which otherwise is not a dining space but a sitting space in the dining room. Will definitely like to stay here, if and when we get a chance next.

Spent a night here during a work assignment. Clean, beautifully located outside the Kohima in Kigwema village and said to be very handy for the Hornbill festival. Lovely staff, a warm lounge sitting area for meals and coffee, wit its own functioning fireplace. Plus the best pork momos i have ever eaten in my life. They appear to get a lot of their produce from local farms and you will see millets and pumpkins lined up outside the lounge and outdoor dining area

Dimori Cove in Kigwema village is the nearest option for accommodation from Kisama Heritage Village, the venue of Hornbill Festival. It is also located near to the starting point of Japfu trek. There are spacious clean rooms with decent amenities along with a log cabin. Due to the tourist rush during peak season, they also set up tents and provide dormitory accommodation for backpackers. Breakfast buffet is complimentary for all.

Its located about 2 Km past the main venue of the Hornbill Fest at Kisama, as you drive from Kohima . If you do not feel like walking , you can be dropped for Rs.200/- . We stayed at the Log Hut which had a bedroom with attached bath , and a sitting room . The Geyser worked well but the bathroom needs major renovation . Room heater was highly ineffective . Luckily we had no power cut , but all the other rooms had a major power problem . The food choices were limited , but was served freshly prepared and hot . However , for breakfast it was the same boiled eggs everyday . When we asked to change it to Omlettes & fried Eggs , they were provided at full charge . Need to book months in advance of the Hornbill Festival . Their email response is very poor .
