We stayed two nights, 6 of us as two triples, grandparents and two grown up children. Beautifully finished stone built accommodation with wooden floors with lovely turquoise shutters. Rania the host was really helpful and gave us a lot of advice on places to visit. (Ancient Messene is a terrific site to visit) We cooked in the fully equipped kitchen. Nice modern bathrooms with soar powdered hot water. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and stand fans downstairs. More solar panels may allow some a/c upstairs which would be an added bonus. Terrific views looking down onto a valley of olive trees. Highly recommended.

A beautiful and quite, refurbished traditional stone house that offers an excellent retreat only a couple of hours away from buisy Athens. Tricky road only for about 200m once you leave the village (Psari) to reach the houses. But it's worth it. Wifi access not the best, but we saw it as an opportunity to spend quality time together; spend all last night up talking, enjoying beers and the fireplace!

This is the place to come to for peace and quiet among the hills in Psari. It is a little difficult to find but the owner provides someone to meet you in the village to take you up a dirt road (easy to find once you've been there). Psari is very small and not a lot of options for food but there are restaurants in the nearest village, a ten minute drive. The only downside is no breakfast offered. But families could bring food as there is a very nice kitchen area. I think this kind of place is meant for families or those staying longer in the area. I stayed only one night on my way to Olympia. The rooms are super clean with a downstairs living area (and couches for kids to sleep on) and an upstairs bed and bathroom. The caretaker and her son were very nice in orienting me to the facilities. There is a wonderful fireplace to provide heat (there is a also heat via radiators). Overall a very enjoyable time. At 80 euros a night it was a fair price.

Beautiful house. Amazingly quiet. About 1km above psari along a reasonable unpaved road. The houses themselves are nowhere near any other habitation and have a wonderful view. They are well equipped eg wifi and good kitchen and bathroom. They have been sympathetically renovated in excellent taste. The bed is very comfortable and we had very helpful service from the lady who looks after it. If you want absolute peace and quiet in a beautiful remote spot, this is it! Getting back to normal life was a real shock...

Very beautifull and traditional. The location is remote and the nature is amazing. The absolute silence where one can find peace. Great place to let kids run around freely. Pet friendly place. Clean and hospitable. Owner etc very helpfull and very friendly. We went there january and prices were very reasonable. Sure will be same in summer. P.S. get a nice book or chess...
