For 45 soles you get a small room with an uncomfortable bed..fan..old tv..a bar and hangers to hold hour clothes but no armoire...wifi is excellent on 4th floor. The bathroom is clean and nice with hot water ( but sometimes no hot water)...the wooden doors would need varnish...but the room is clean. 2 minutes from the central plaza walking distance...

Just arrived back in Piura after a week visiting Huanchaco. Overnighting in Piura to break up the bus trip back to Loja, Ecuador tommorow. Stayed here on the way down, was hoping to stay at an air conditioned place this time as it can get pretty hot here. Had my driver take me to check out the Intiotel. Nice, but...

We struggled to find accomodation in Piura. We arrived very early one morning and set off in groups to come up with the best option. This hostel ended up being the only option but it was more than adequate. The reception is downstairs and rooms are on each floor so be prepared to climb stairs to get to your room....

A double room with a private bathroom (very hot water) and a TV was 70 soles per night. I really struggled to find anywhere good to stay in Piura in my internet/guide book research before my arrival.
