We stayed with 2 dogs at Lapuan Hovi. Very helpfull and kind staff in the hotel and restaurant, food was good and you did Not have to go sleep hungry :D Hotel room temperature was ok even though it had been 30C hot all day, Airconditioning was centrally managed, and in our room you could open one window equipped with a insect net for the night but it was not needed. Abit -90s interior feeling 😁 , all was clean and nice. Thanks!
Stayed here two nights on a weekend break. The hotel is centrally located in the small town of Lapua and thus easily reached by car. There is free parking space outside right in front of the hotel. It is an older building which kind of shows, although it has probably been renovated at some point. The check in and check out were efficient and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are on two different floors and ours was facing the front side of the hotel and, somewhat disappointingly, was directly above the hotel's pub and its terrace so that the noise from the pub could clearly be heard inside the room. The room itself was rather small and very basic, although clean and had all the basic amenities. The beds were rather stiff and the air conditioning was set on high flow and there wasn't any way to adjust it and so both of us had sore throats in the morning. Also the wifi connection was very slow and unstable. The breakfast was very basic but quite tasty, and we were rather pleased with the quality of the dinner at the on-site restaurant. Overall, this hotel is vary basic, keeping in mind that there is not much competition in the area. I'd still stay here again if I were to visit the town again in the future.…
Small hotel, but comfortable beds, room a bit on the cold side . Good food, excellent staff , they do speak English and are most helpful Free parking, sauna, lots of hot water. Very good hotel. Furniture a bit old but ok. Very good breakfast, not expensive by European standards. Recommended
If you happen to pass through and need a place to crash, it's the obvious choice. The hotel is kind of old but they keep it clean and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast was quite good. A nice surprise was the art hanging on the restaurant walls. A large amount works by Finnish painter Juhani Palmu, most of which was for sale. The lobby also offers a glimpse into the local art scene with some nice pieces as well.
Lapua is very small city ,so we can't expected any high class places to sleep. Hotel Lapuahovi are really very nice and elegant.Rooms are very clean and huge. All what you need ,you will find (Huge TV,huge bed nice bathroom etc..) Staff are very polite and helpful.Restaurant downstairs are Ok ,but few meters far from this place (opposite site) is really good local restaurant. In Lapuahovi they have very tasty pizza. Prices for night are a bit expensive in this kind of village. Hotel Lapua are really very good choice durring stay on this beautiful region.
