We stayed in lodge 6, in an Artic Spa Suite. The Jacuzzi to the side was perfectly placed for privacy and a stunning view of the surrounding area. Lodged 1-7 seem to get the best views, including sun set, so would recommend these. Inside it was well equipped [only one small criticism was that it just missing some plates / cutlery in the kitchen cupboards - and I am being super picky here because everything else was amazing]. The sauna in the lodge was great, and overall it was cosy, very modern, well designed and the large windows looking into the night sky where absolutely breathtaking!
Breakfast was delivered daily at 09.00am and had everything we needed and more, and the lodge was cleaned daily to an excellent standard.
You can speak to the team via whatsapp, which was really handy and they were very responsive. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything we needed was catered for [including arranging trips, transfers, lifts into the nearby shopping / restaurant area etc]. We found this really helpful.
A top tip would be to walk into the northern lights village, here you will find a supermarket, a pub and other food options. The walk takes around 30-40 mins and takes you across some incredible view points of the local area which is gorgeous.
I would also highly recommend the Huskys [10km], Snow Safari and Reindeer Safari - all excellently organised by the resort and transfers were easy and prompt!
Overall an amazing trip - if you visit here you won't be disappointed. Saariselka is a beautiful part of Finland.

Despite I came after official checkin time, I ordered hotel transfer and they came for me to Ivalo airport and accomodate me late in the evening without any problema. Airport transfer is 40€/person one way, if you travel solo 80€. I stayied in suite with jacuzzi and sauna. Sauna was perfect, jacuzzi was cold for me ( I appreciate that water in jacuzzi is changed before every new guest). Communication with hotel is mainly by whatsapp and is very smooth. They can drop you anywhere anytime. You can order breakfast from 8:00. Lady brings you wooden box with some brkfst basics. I read on Bookings they take cash deposit which I didnt have to pay. Check out 11:00.

For a special birthday we wanted to book a special experience. We stayed for 5 nights in the very new Studio A5 and for us two people it was perfect. We had a wonderful view of a snow landscape through large panoramic windows, a “sleeping niche” which was cuddly and absolutely sufficient and for us especially important a private sauna. The studio was excellently equipped with a small kitchen, there was plenty of storage space, a great sound system that could be controlled via Bloototh and – if anyone felt the need – a TV with the possibility to use their own streaming channels. We booked the bucket list package and didn't regret it for a minute. Everything was perfectly scheduled and organized in advance and adapted to our wishes. Despite flight changes and problems on arrival, we were picked up from the airport in a good mood even at a late time and instructed on site in the amenities of our studio. As mentioned many times before, the complete communication on site runs via WhatsApp – and excellently! We were always brought to our activities on time and reliably, picked up from our desired locations and the pickup in the evening from the restaurant was problem-free. Even the Polarlight hotline :-) worked perfectly! Saarisälka herself is easily accessible on foot and we took the opportunity daily to walk to the place or walk back from our activities to the studio. This half hour through a quiet winter wonderland is wonderfully feasible - even with the crisp sub-zero temperatures prevailing during our stay.
The Aurora Collection is operated with a lot of passion and personal commitment. It is also thanks to the staff that we had an unforgettable holiday! A heartfelt thank you again to all the helping hands in the background and to Maelle and Janni, whom we have taken to heart in a short time. This wonderful country and especially the Aurora Collection is worth a visit – a 100% recommendation from our side!

We recently enjoyed a delightful five-night stay at the Aurora Collection Resort, and it exceeded all our expectations. Opting for the Arctic Action package, we were thrilled by the diverse range of activities it offered. From husky and reindeer excursions to exhilarating snowmobile rides, as well as Aurora hunting, which significantly increased our chances of witnessing the mesmerizing phenomenon. The resort's strategic location, combined with the expert guidance of the staff, ensured that we had the best opportunity to experience the Northern Lights in all their splendor. A special mention must be made of Tanja, whose enthusiasm, dedication, and attention to detail truly enhanced our stay. Her passion for ensuring guests have an extraordinary experience was evident, and her guidance during the various excursions added an extra layer of enjoyment. The resort itself is a hidden gem, conveniently located just a 20-minute walk from Saariselkä. For added convenience, the resort offers a driver service to any location within Saariselkä. This proximity to the charming village allowed us to explore its shops, savor delicious meals at local restaurants, and even hit the slopes at the northernmost ski resort—a truly unique experience.

This is our second time staying at Aurora Collection and this time, we stayed for a week. The service, quality, and overall feel of the resort got even BETTER! My husband and I are so proud to be patronizers of this resort. I misplaced my wallet on our last night and their staff went out of their way to find my wallet and true enough, they did! I am so grateful for the warmth and hospitality of everyone at Aurora Collection. If you're looking for a problem-free, stress-free vacation, this is where you need to go. You don't have to worry about driving in the snow or renting a car as they provide car shuttle services to bring you to your activities and dining plans. The location of the resort is another thing to rave about. Saariselka is less commercial than Levi or Rovaniemi, giving the town that quiet, quaint, and charming feel. The restaurants in the town centre are amazing, too!

I recently stayed at the Aurora Collection Resort and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great vacation. They were always available to answer any questions I had and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with cozy cabins that are perfect for a winter getaway. I would highly recommend the Aurora Collection Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

We visited for a big birthday bucket list trip and did lots of research before booking of various areas and resorts. Aurora Collection absolutely lived up to our high expectations. The team are super friendly and efficient with all logistics taken care of seamlessly.
We stayed in an Artic Spa Suite which had stunning views. It was clean and comfortable and clearly of excellent quality. We loved our hot tub and embracing the sauna experience. It would have been great to have a little more storage for clothes, suitcases, etc. but that's also the charm of the compact pod. Our only complaint is we didn't get to spend more time in it because we were so busy with the activities the area has to offer!
The resort arranged for us a husky sled, reindeer sleighing, a snow mobile safari and a northern lights safari as well as driving us around the village to various points to explore. We honestly couldn't pick a favourite and all were great fun. They've clearly forged some good partnerships with local companies and also made some fantastic restaurant recommendations. A particular highlight was driving to a frozen lake with a local guide and cooking sausages over an open fire under the stars, in search of the auroras.
The team enthusiastically supported your bids to see the northern lights, letting you know when they were visible no matter what the time! In this small, boutique resort, they have created something really very special and a great antidote to some of the more commercial "Lapland" experiences. We are true winter holiday converts!

We stayed here for 3 nights which was not enough really. Resort is very well managed and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. We were very well looked after by Hedi and Jusso who recommended the best local restaurants and trips and transported us wherever we wanted to go. Cabins are cosy and toasty warm and location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Would not hesitate to return and missing the place already

Before I even arrived I knew this place was special. Communicating with Katri leading up to our stay to plan activities was beyond seamless. She responded to every email so kindly and quickly.
Once you arrive you feel as if you’re the only people staying there because of the level of hospitality you receive. Everyone we came in contact with was wonderful. We happened to be with Nicky and Jusso most. They truly care about the experience you have. Juuso set up a fire for us on our last night and brought us to the grocery store to grab meats to grill in the kota hut they have on the property (photo added). That is a MUST do, it was a beautiful night of drinking wine around the fire, eating, and sharing good conversation with some of the staff and another guest we had met and become fast friends with.
Most of the activities except for the ice karting departs from northern lights village and the Aurora team will happily bring you to and from that property and anywhere else in town as needed (at no additional cost).
My boyfriend and I stayed here 3 nights at the end of March and saw the lights one night without leaving the property. We stayed in the Arctic Spa Suite which was on the edge of the property, it had great privacy and the private sauna and hot tub are lovely at the end of a long day. The room was so cozy and exceptionally clean. We left feeling recharged and so grateful for the experience we had here.
If you want to visit the area you just can’t stay anywhere else!!

We stayed in A3 and it was a fantastic accomodation for our family of 4 adults. The apartment was very homely with a fireplace which we utilised to the fullest and also a spa and sauna which were also used heavily! Getting anywhere was very easy and staff would pick you up and take you to wherever and also they were very responsive with any queries and activities. We did snow mobiling; husky rides and Aurora Hunt (which was very successful) with them and all activities were great. Breakfast was delivered each day to the suite and they also catered for specific dietary requirements that we had which was awesome…definitely recommend.
