i came from norway with the late cat ferry and booked it for one night due to convinience. top location just next to the beach indoor and outdoor pool, plenty of aktivities. i believe the whole place had been very modern when opened and the architecture outside and pupils areas are still are however the rooms are small, ugly, old fashioned and far behind the minimum standard exspected today. service i can not comment since i had none.key at box since reception close at 19.00 and i lift before breakfast

We have stayed here for 2 nights with my extended family and had high hopes after reading reviews and seeing the pictures. Since then it’s been a steady disappointment, from attractions to facilities. This resort probably had its prime years 10 yrs ago, but since then maintenance and care has not been performed and this is pretty visible. The restaurant is not functioning, even though they advertise it. The place looks run down and is full of rust and lack of paint We were 3 families and will likely not return. Standard of Apt were poor and hardly functioning for preparing food. Looks nothing like the pictures so don’t be tricked by it

We rented an apartment at Danland close to Hirtshals. The sofa bed was old and very unconfortable to sleep on which was a shame as the size and location of the apartment otherwise was good. You want to be able to have a decent sleep on your holidays. The residence is very kids friendly with both an outdoor and indoor play area as well as a swimming pool.

So we were two families on a weekend trip in this lovely scenery. The ocean view is fantastic! And you can see a lot of ship traffic. Our kids at age 2 and 5 really enjoyed the outside/inside playground and indoor pool areas. This is all great stuff, to bad the rooms are a bit run down. I would date the decor and last refurbish at approximately 1995. Due for an update! The furniture was a bit discusting, we dressed them with our own sheets. No discusting stains or anything, just old and faded. Looked dirty. Despite these negatives the appartments are very functional. And you have to pay for the amount of water an electricity you use during your stay. 4 days gave us a bill of 180DKR.
