Joan & Robin are perfect hosts, engaging, considerate and welcoming. Linden house rooms feel like home, with a full breakfast selection this is definitely value for money. Family rooms easily accommodate 2 plus 2 and for those physically challenged there is also a stair lift. A must stay if you're visiting Chard.

Spent two nights here with ten days in between down in Cornwall. The breakfast at this venue is great, far better than the hotel I spent 10 days at and it cost us an arm and a leg. The lady of the house is full of beans and the surroundings are very nice. There is a small swimming pool and... More

I have no idea how nice the others are in the area, but this one was great. The hostess was wonderful and great to my family. (Wife and 3 sons). The accommodations were comfortable and we had plenty of space. The shower had hot enough water and good pressure. And most important for the boys, there was a strong and... More

This is a beautiful place to stay, such a warm welcome by the owner, who was very helpful with anything we needed to know about our stay and places to visit! The guest house was very clean and almost everything you could need for a stay away was provided, including bottled water in the room. The breakfast was amazing and... More

This a large property at the top end of the High Street. There is car parking but unless you have a small vehicle it can be quite difficult to manoeuvre due to a nasty wall on the opposite side from the B&B and the narrowness of the available room. Beware. I had a room at the top of the house... More

The bed was very comfortable and there was an excellent walk in electric shower. TV was very small and only played channel 4 but... More
