We stayed for one night with evening meal.the room was large. The bathroom huge. Bed was comfy. All fixtures and fittings good quality. The building itself was quite old and the grounds were very attractive. The hotel was very quite when we stayed. And the receptionist /bar women/ waitress was lovely. Food was very well cooked. Must have the bomb!...

My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday with a weekend away at Hornsbury Mill. We had a beautiful 4 poster bed with a lovely view of the grounds. The dinner in the evening was excellent. We had a very kind and attentive waitress who allowed me to pick and choose my main meal due to being a vegetarian. Both my...

A Sunday lunch, atmosphere good, very much enjoyed our dining experience here. Although I was not very warm. Next visit will make sure I wear more layers. Delighted at the Peacock and two hens who peeped at us whilst we eat. Lovely spectacle.

I was upgraded to the suite on my first trip here, very nice room with cosy sofas, a separated bedroom with four poster bed, and an array of milling implements! The room was comfortable and cosy despite the below zero temperatures outside. The restaurant has a good selection of food, including pies of the day. Overall a very pleasant place...

We had not been to the Mill for a meal for quite some time so decided to try a lunch. From the moment that we arrived until we left, there was not one thing to criticise. We both had an excellent meal in lovely surroundings with brilliant service and aall at very reasonable prices. This is going to be one...

We stayed here at the weekend as we were meeting people in the Warners hotel for a birthday meal. I think hotel is a bit overpriced nice place but accommodation had a few marks on the carpet and the bathroom shower had mould so perhaps needed a bit of a thorough clean. Breakfast was ok again basic for the room...

I cannot speak highly enough for Hornsbury Mill. From the minute me and my now husband looked around as a potential wedding venue to the day of our wedding nothing could have gone wrong. Every single member of staff were helpful, attentive and thought of every aspect. Rachel was our wedding organiser and I could cry now with how brilliant...

The quantity of food provided for my friend's wedding breakfast was poor. There was 7 of us on one table and between us we were given one tiny dish of veg. Condiments were not offered for the meat. There was no extra gravy jug provided. Shocking considering the money paid per head.

We enjoyed our stay here at the Mill although felt some of the common areas of the accommodation could do with a little repair now its the end of the season. There were some cleaning issues with the bathroom and some mould or discolouration around the shower which although harmless is not ideal to look at. The staff are extremely...
