We spent a week in this hotel with our children. Our rooms were lovely - very clean, comfortable beds. The staff are helpful, friendly and kind, always willing to go the extra mile. The hotel is well kept with lot of personality. The location is a little off the beaten track so you need a car and be willing to...

Dear guest, Thank you for your precious review. I'm glad to read that you had a lovely stay and we very much appreciated your kindness and friendly smile. As you stated, our lovely hotel's position allows our guests to have an easy access to the highway and, consequently, to the main sights of the island. I hope that you managed...

Staff was friendly and can't say anything bad about the hotel --- It's Ok. Quiet and good view of Mt Etna You do have to travel a bit to find a place to eat and or sights around the hotel -- small town. But the restaurant at the hotel is very good -- good breakfast. And, you really cannot walk...

This is a good base for exploring Mt. Etna with a car, but it is a bit of an enclave--you'll be sleeping and eating here, but not exploring the town. If we were to return, we'd probably look into staying in or near Zafferana Etnea, a more charming town. Giarre offers nowhere to walk except very busy roads. Driving in...

Giarre itself is not very appealing and the Etna Hotel is an oasis of tranquility and charm in a less than picturesque urban area. Overall the hotel provides an average product at a reasonable degree of value. Rooms are fine, food at dinner ok and breakfast the same. Service is good with interesting, engaged staff, most of whom speak excellent...

We love small, cozy places that are full of character and this hotel is exactly that! The hotel is located in what seems an old Sicilian villa but the rooms are completely renovated, modern and spotless clean. The check-in was very fast (despite the fact that we arrived at 2 in the morning), the staff very pleasant and welcoming. We...

our travel agent booked this hotel as a base for walking around Etna. its a bit challenging without a car as Giarre has nothing going for it. But this is compensated by excellent service, a super breakfast and outstanding restaurant for dinner. pay more to have a room with a view of Mt Etna - we had room 206. we...

The hotel is located inside of Giaraa, a nice little town in the outskirts of Catania / Taormina (It's about 30 minutes to each). expect at least 15 minutes to get out of the city, it's very crowded. Hotel includes a parking, a nice pool and a probably gorgeous view of Etna (the weather was bad). Hotel room is clean,...

Dear guest, We really appreciate your review and the description of the positive aspects of your stay. At the same time, we are disappointed by the fact that you never asked us for help when you needed it: our staff always tries to quickly answer the guests' requests and, in this case we would have avoided this technical problem. Hoping...

Just returned from this beautiful hotel and gardens with amazing views of Etna, the pool area is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. We found all the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Our room 201 was airy and spacious, overlooking a traditional pretty courtyard, where a more than adequate breakfast is taken.

We had a wonderful time there. Swimming pool, room, breakfasts were really good. Louise and Dario were such great members of staff, as well as the lady who cleaned our room daily. You do need a car but driving around Sicily is a very hazardous business - not for the fainthearted!!

This is a lovely hotel, very quiet and calm, with a great swimming pool and views of Etna. The breakfast is superb with everything you could possibly want.
