I’m not one to usually complain, however... I was up all night. AC didn’t work, was blowing humid, moldy smell into the room. Room was filled with mosquitos. I left the hotel with bug bites all over my feet, face, and chest. Terrible! Pay a few extra dollars and stay somewhere nicer! Staff are nice, breakfast is acceptable.

This hotel is a little way outside of the main centre of town. But in saying that hotel itself was clean, room was large and beautifully decorated. Friendly staff and secure private parking underground. Very good value. Would reccommend.

The hotel itself took a while to find because there was no specific address, just a street name (which happens to be a long street!). When we got there, the receptionist on duty could not speak a word of English (the other 2 people we encountered could communicate, somewhat). The room was good, very spacious (bathroom was small) and clean and the shower was great. The free WiFi didn’t connect in our room so we had to stay in the reception area if we wanted to be connected. Breakfast was the usual continental Italian style breakfast.

We have chosen this hotel because apparently it was the only available in town. We asked for a double room "superior" with sea view. We thought about an hotel in the city center along the seaside. Unfortunately, the view was only on docks .. probably the hotel is good for businessmen working sometimes in Mazara but it is not a good choice for tourists in my opinion. However, the center is 5-10 minutes away by car (not recommended on foot) and Mazara itself is very nice. The rooms are good although we did not find anything "superior". The garage is 100 m away but there is a strange policy: you are required to get and return the key anytime to the reception (quite annoying). The breakfast is ok but could be much better if genuine sicilian food instead of commercial products were used.
