#4 of 57 Speciality lodging in Mazara del Vallo
Berlingeri Resort is perfectly integrated into the vineyards and the olive groves of the Farm. The old and peculiarly Sicilian style farmhouse has been completely renovated carefully caring the original architecture and revisiting materials that were once used..Inside, the interiors – the twelve suites, the lounges, the restaurant and the congress hall – are remarkably impressive for the simplicity of the architectural style, the calm colours, the contemporaneity of the furnitures, the efficiency and the modernity of the offered services.

If you do, the Berlingeri Resort is for you. We stayed here for 3 nights while on a wonderful tour through Sicily. Luckily all of our local activities were easily reached by bus because this place was much too isolated for us. It is a short drive up a bumpy road that is accessed from a larger (not big or main) country road. While the rooms were very nice, clean, comfortable and spacious, the resort resembled an old US type motor lodge where you would park your car just in front of your ground floor room. Now, to be fair, cars cannot park in front of the rooms. The rooms open out onto an area that is a landscaped lawn with sidewalks connecting the rooms to the main building in which the restaurant is found. The main sidewalk also goes down to a very nice outdoor pool area complete with a bar/snack building. From this area, the lawn area and the back windows in the rooms, you can view the adjacent vineyard. That's about it, folks. So, if you want to veg-out, soak up the sun (if it's shining which it didn't on us), enjoy lounging around the pool (it was too cool for us), this is for you. And, the wifi was very good, breakfast choices were very limited and just ok, and the lighting in our bathroom could have been better. The staff was engaging but we would not pick this place for ourselves.

This resort is located in the country near the town of Mazara del Valle. It is beautifully decorated and luxurious in a southwestern U.S. sort of decor and architecture. The food was the best we ate in all of Sicily, and the owners and all their staff were extremely warm and helpful. The accommodations are large and very comfortable, and all rooms have lovely views. Some rooms are actually outside the main building and are like lovely cottages. There is a beautiful pool, but in November it was too cold to take advantage of it. I cannot wait to return to this wonderful resort..

I was there for three nights with a tour group, and it was my least favorite accomodation of any place we stayed. Location is lacking...entertainment is going to see the horse and donkey.Miles away from Mazara which is a nice, interesting town. My room was large with a seating area, but it was poorly and cheaply furnished. Nothing was warm and friendly about the place...concrete floors added to the chill. With nothing to do there at night (tiniest of tiny TVs), I wanted to read....but there are no suitable reading lights. The manager/owner? seemed put out when I asked for a better light. We had dinner there two nights and the meals were subpar. The squid risotto was inedible. Breakfasts were basic...we had better elsewhere. The wait staff in the dining room was attentive, if not overworked. Three nights was too much time there...maybe it would've felt different if Berlingeri weren't so isolated, but there were no other options for dinner or entertainment for miles.

This is a very nice place. It’s quite new, and has most of the amenities of a great hotel. Our suite (#4) was very roomy. It had a simple kitchenette, a living area, bathroom, and bedroom. Everything looked new and very clean. The bathroom had a tub with shower and double sinks. There was only a little counter space for things, but it worked out. They provided lots of towels and washcloths. The bedroom had a foot chest and there was a luggage rack with lots of space for our luggage. There was also a very long desk in the bedroom which provided a good amount of space for our small things other than luggage. The bed was very firm, but comfortable. The lighting was quite good, especially compared to most other hotels. The breakfast buffet was good. There was a good selection of hot and cold dishes for us to choose from. The grounds are very nice. There is a beautiful swimming pool and a pretty pergola with chairs near the pool for sitting or chatting with friends. Walking around the grounds, we found a corral with a friendly horse, to whom we gave apples, thanks to the management. However, because of its relative isolation, it may not have a lot for small children to do. Anastasia, the owner, was simply lovely. She was warm, very helpful, and had everything under control. All in all, I highly recommend this location.

Our group of 16 stayed here for 3 nights in October, 2018. We were greeted warmly by host Anastasia who made sure we were well taken care of. The property is in a rural location near Mazaro. After several days in Palermo, it was lovely to come to this quiet, peaceful lodging. Our room was huge: a two-room suite and bathroom with double sinks. The property is home to a few horses, goats, chickens, etc., and one is free to walk around the grounds. There's a beautiful infinity pool at the bottom of the property, along with an outside bar. It was a little cool for swimming, but I was able to get a couple glasses of prosecco (graciously served with nuts and chips) to enjoy seated outside our room. Breakfast and dinners are served and are excellent! Breakfasts included eggs, meat, breads, yogurt, juice, fruit, cakes, etc. Dinner one night was delicious crepes filled with ricotta and spinach, with a light cream sauce. I believe much of the food comes from their own gardens. We had some laundry done there (beautifully folded when it was returned) for which we paid about 1/3 of what hotels charged. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
