Good location just across the road from a small beach. Hotel friendly and good food. When booking go for a sea view room as the view is good. Makrygialos is a small friendly resort where you can relax. We will visit the hotel again and do recommend you try this hotel if visiting Makygialos.

Nice hotel on the beach. Room very well furnished, Very clean, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was also good. The rooms are not soundproof, you can hear people talking, snoring in second next room. Very good value, though.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in early August. I'd say that it was adequate for what we needed, just a place to sleep at night. The only room available was "garden view," which is a little less picturesque than it sounds, but the balcony was nice. The AC worked, which was important for us, and the water...

We stayed in this hotel twice, as an intermediate hotel in a longer trip. We expected to be a nice hotel, but what we found exceeded our expectations. The rooms were large, newly furnished, clean and more of the point, almost all had a fantastic sea view. We must thank Kriss and his father, as we arrived much much later...

We visited Makrigialos to meet with friends over the Greek Easter, the earliest we'd ever been to Greece. The season hasn't yet started and the village was very quiet most of the time. It's difficult to comment on the hotel as there was no-one about most of the time. Having said that, we were very happy with our accomodation, a...

This hotel has a very good location. The beach in front of the hotel is quite narrow, nevertheless in most cases it is enough, Ancient Pidna with much more wider beach is just 2 km away. The service is very friendly and helpful. Very interesting region of Greece!

We have stayed at the Achillion a number of times now. We travel 2 or 3 times a year and always stop off here to break our journey. We like the fact it is family run which means it has a very pleasant friendly atmosphere. The breakfast is always good with a lot of choice and the evening meals (especially...

A bit disappointed from the hotel, maybe because it was not summer peak season. The staff couldnt speak English and since we were arriving late we were worried if he understood us. The rooms looked clean, but it didnt feel clean. The bathroom would get all wet if you had a shower as there was no curtain or anything. The...
