We had a week of skiing in Donovaly and after our previous accommodation cancelled at the last minute, this was the closest affordable place we could find. It is about 14km from the resort. We had a very nice and large room with balcony. It suited us perfectly. The room looked newly refurbished to a very high standard. The hotel has a quiet location away from the main road. The wifi was very good. We ate in the restaurant 3 times and the food/service were always good. Breakfast was initially from a menu which was good, then a buffet later in the week which was also good for us. We would be happy to stay again.

We stopped for 1 night and booked 3 rooms. Very modern hotel, smart rooms and decor. Shame the windows opened inwards and that meant on a hot night the blind had to stay up to do so?? Odd choice. The spa is naked only, so if you want to swim remember to forget to pack your kit! Our children were giving that a wide berth! Good breakfast choices. Staff friendly. We ate outside on the terrace and had excellent service. Staff spoke great English. Thank you

The rooms are clean and comfy, breakfast is hearty, all in all the atmosphere is great. However, the agressive naked-only rule in the wellness really put me off. I have been to many places where the sauna is naked, which is fine, as you can still decide to cover yourself with a towel if you are the type of person who is not comfortable with exposing yourself to strangers. Here, on the other hand, a lady who did not speak a word of English 'greeted' me at the entrance of the wellness, pointing at my swimming suit and yelling "no!no!". It turned out that the entire wellness is naked-only, including the pools. I went up to the reception to check if I understood it right, and they confirmed that it is forbidden to wear my swimsuit in the pool, as "it is a pool for relaxing, not swimming". To be honest, being forced into soaking butt naked with 70 year old men is not a relaxing experience to me. I don't mind if some people choose to be naked in the pool, but I definitely do not appreciate not having an option to decide what I'm comfortable with. I did not see the nudist pools being specified when I decided to book the hotel, and being able to enjoy wellness facilities after skiing was something I specifically wanted to do. I think the management should really reconsider the idea of the go naked or go home policy, but if they decide to keep it, at least specify it in English on the booking sites, so people like me can choose a more suitable accomodation.

We stopped in the middle of the night in this cozy place. The receptionist was very friendly and checked us in really quick. The rooms are not too big, but clean and we specify that we needed quietness to rest and recharge. The lady at the reception gave us a room in the back away from the noise of the road that passes nearby. The only bump was at breakfast before check out. The waiter and some lady apparently the general manager starting to share jokes among themselves and started to bang on the bar counter as they laughed pretty loud disregarding that customers and guests want to eat in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. My wife stand up and had to asked them to stop the fuzz and the loudness. Staff needs to always understand that no matter how comfortable you feel at work, you are not the boss. Customers are the boss. With their returned business they pay your wages and keep the property opened and competitive and that's why you can still have a job and put bread on the table. That's why in our hospitality profession we need to be extremely careful how we conduct ourselves in public as this reflects the core values of the property, the company and this may cause customers to complaint or even worst (not complain, but never come back again) A word of advise: be always careful while at work cause there is someone looking, analyzing, judging and you never know who you have in front of you. It may be the cause of a promotion, a complaint or it can be the cause of a bad review which will spoil the good ob of other colleagues. We will come back and give it a last chance, but we hope this review will be noticed by the management and they will correct this behavior. Looking forward to that.

I stayed here multiple times on my way to the High Tatras. The hotel is very charming and very clean. The rooms are spacious with adequate bathrooms. Very clean. From the window I had beautiful view of the mountain range. Hotel also serves as a restaurant and a pizza place. You can also enjoy quality time in their wellness. I highly recommend this place.
