Located between the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes at an altitude of 1,640 ft, each one of our 12 bungalows has an exceptional view towards the Tenorio volcano. Rooms are spacious, elegant, and perfectly set out for your greatest comfort. Built on our 17 acres property, in the middle of Heliconias gardens, of fruit trees and tropical vegetation surrounding two natural ponds, the Lodge was designed to offer its guests quietness, relaxation, and serenity. In this peaceful environment, along our trails, you will observe hundreds of birds, learn about native trees or take a dip in one of our two red cedar hot tubs. Among the activities we suggest, you should visit the heart of the Tenorio Volcano's National Park, the "Rio Celeste", well known for its astonishing and enchanting turquoise-blue colour.

What a wonderful way to start our holiday. Really comfortable cabins with full wall windows. Home cooking was great and the owner and staff so friendly. It has to be 5 stars. Plus at least a couple of resident Sloths to see in the grounds and lovely trails accessed right from

We stayed in bungalow 9, which was further away from the main lodge/reception, but it had better views of the wildlife in the surrounding trees. We saw a keel-billed toucan from the bungalow on the first afternoon. The French owner puts out fruit on the tables by the main

Lovely big rooms with spectacular glass fronts and a nice little private terrace with views over to Tenorio Volcano. This was our first stop on our Costa Rican adventure and when we walked out onto the terrace when we arrived, there was a sloth in the tree right by us -
