A hotel with a very friendly atmosphere and proper hospitality. A lovely location near the medieval village and well placed for exploring the area. We reserved a room for 1 night initially but on arrival, since it was in a great location, we asked to stay 2 nights. This was apparently a bit difficult but they did their best accommodate us and we ended up in a different great room, which we enjoyed immensely. The food was simple and delicious and very local - all the staff were friendly and particularly the owner with a great sense of humour. Although English speaking was difficult and my french not so good, it was not a problem, we understood each other fine!!

The stay of several days in this hotel offers all you can wish: a nice room with excellent beds, good access (elevator), nice breakfast with many guests simultaneously and above all friendly and very helpful host. Recommended for one night stay over or several days to venture in the lovely area. Leo and Petra

The owner of the hotel and his wife are the kindest and most helpful staff I've ever seen. The hotel was very clean, though in some place a little decrepit. The views from the rooms are beautiful. The breakfast is just OK.

Hotel was a little dated, with fitted sheets on the beds. The rooms could do with some decorating and revamping. The owners were great and nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was a cold buffet. We had an evening meal in the hotel and the food was fantastic far better than we had anywhere else. They also had an indoor pool which the children loved. Our rooms had fantastic views.

my friend and i stayed here on october 4th 2012 for 1 night en route to italy from england. we called to make a reservation a couple of hours before arriving there and the lady who spoke to me in english was very nice and helpful. as we were arriving very late at night she gave me the codes to get into the hotel and told me she would leave a key on the front desk for the room. the hotel is lovely and clean. it is comfortable and has a friendly feel about it. my friend and i would recommend this hotel to anybody. breakfast was a little dissapointing but the positives outnumber this 1 negative.
